  1. This is the bike I have seen parked in front of your living room fireplace? šŸ”„

  2. I can't imagine hating breakfast. I don't eat a full breakfast everyday but on the occasion where I am in the mood I find great joy and pleasure in bacon, sausage, eggs and hash browns or home-fries. Eggs Benedict is also a treat. Making and eating a nice full breakfast with my wife on the weekend is a welcome indulgence that transcends the concern for nutritional or health values. The food and the aromas from cooking breakfast create comfort and set a warm ambiance for the day. IMO sometimes a meal is more than just the sum of feeding one's body.

  3. Got the boat running so I figured Iā€™d take another delve into this. Think this has anything to do with it? šŸ™‚

  4. Shucks, Idaho Falls is a few hours from me. I'll happily do it if no one else will.

  5. The wife is getting into the hummus thing and we ended up getting these plus pita chips and bread. The bread is really good but I don't eat bread, (can't control myself), the pita chips are harder than we like. I can eat all of them but the honey jalapeno is my favorite.

  7. Well duh. You can't just go and cut a strap willy nilly, you'd need a hot knife cutter which will require lots of input. But seriously, not having a bunch of strap to have to secure makes life easier. A less permanent alternative is to roll up the excess and zip tie it...and figuring that out 'should' only take two pages and three failed attempts.

  8. Hard boil some eggs on the weekend and put them in the fridge for the rest of the week. It's amazing how far two eggs will let me go before I get real hungry again. I like to put salt and pepper on them, or better yet a splash of Frank's red hot.

  9. Like an older stray dog.. I have an older stray 2002 Caponord that needs saved from being put down. 2002. Silver. 44k miles. Givi top case, Leo V exhaust. New tires. Clean title. Runs. Shifts. Needs a whole clutch, needs fork seals. General loving. A squeeky ball and a bed to sleep on. Its not busted up but its aged - faded dash and all that. Took it on trade but didnt want to lol. Not worth fixing up from a dealership point of view (think labor costs). But its not entirely worthless. If I send it to auction Im not sure I'd recoup my shipping costs after auction fees and all. Will take any offer over $100. Tax and titling are your concern (does have clean, clear, signed title). Can deliver to Denver to maybe SLC on one of my trips home. Pics to follow.

  10. Hell, just dump all your inventory on here, Joe can be our u-ship, and we'll pay him to deliver it around the country. I need a side by side. Or a ZX-14R. Or both šŸ¤£

  14. I wonder if some of the float are stuck in the up position not letting the fuel fill the bowls? Make sure you are working with a strong battery because even though it is turning over, I have found that my bikes get harder to start when the battery gets weak.

  15. How else am I to stoke the fire?!?! But no, this is a proper Blackbird, the original fastest bike in the world, not that white thing with fuel infection. Which was beautiful. This one's living outside for now, but I'm glad you mentioned that because I've been considering moving it indoors.

  16. Right side. Or you could put it on the centerstand in high gear and turn the wheel backwards.

  18. I'm sure Joe has 15 or 20 motors in stock, he'll cut you a deal šŸ¤£ Brother, when my FPR went out I had fuel up to the bottom of the throttle body blades and it didn't hurt my motor. Roll it outside, pull the plastics, plugs, tarp it up, and crank up Old Faithful and see how high the fuel shoots in the air šŸ˜ Don't do what I did and do that in the shop where it hit the ceiling.

  19. You could remove the crank-end plug, and see if it will rotate backwards half a turn, or so. If it does and then stops again, pull the plugs like Mike said, and re-evaluate.

  20. Check to see if the fuel shutoff is still working. They are known to go bad after 20 years or so. Me, I'd pull plugs and get a look inside.

  21. Mike, Walgreen model# WGNBPW Ver. A has been very consistent for me. The cuff is fully adjustable. fwiw Mike, I stopped eating junk food a long time ago. That seemed to make the biggest differance you see, I have always avoided sodium and don't drink anymore. Lost 63lbs.
