This is the bike I have seen parked in front of your living room fireplace? 🔥

I have a motorcycle trailer for sale. Put one in the bed and one on the trailer.

Would they fit side by side in the bed? If answer is yes I would not fuck with motorcycle carrier. I'd imagine securing hitch mounted one to prevent unwanted movement is PITA. Also, if you keep one bike in the bed and another one on carrier, and you happen to want to use one in the bed you would have to remove one on carrier, etc. anyway. Too much work. So, I would, if that is possible, load motorcycles on the bed.

I wonder if some of the float are stuck in the up position not letting the fuel fill the bowls? Make sure you are working with a strong battery because even though it is turning over, I have found that my bikes get harder to start when the battery gets weak.

How else am I to stoke the fire?!?! But no, this is a proper Blackbird, the original fastest bike in the world, not that white thing with fuel infection. Which was beautiful. This one's living outside for now, but I'm glad you mentioned that because I've been considering moving it indoors.

I'm sure Joe has 15 or 20 motors in stock, he'll cut you a deal 🤣 Brother, when my FPR went out I had fuel up to the bottom of the throttle body blades and it didn't hurt my motor. Roll it outside, pull the plastics, plugs, tarp it up, and crank up Old Faithful and see how high the fuel shoots in the air 😁 Don't do what I did and do that in the shop where it hit the ceiling.

You could remove the crank-end plug, and see if it will rotate backwards half a turn, or so. If it does and then stops again, pull the plugs like Mike said, and re-evaluate.

Check to see if the fuel shutoff is still working. They are known to go bad after 20 years or so. Me, I'd pull plugs and get a look inside.

Mike, Walgreen model# WGNBPW Ver. A has been very consistent for me. The cuff is fully adjustable. fwiw Mike, I stopped eating junk food a long time ago. That seemed to make the biggest differance you see, I have always avoided sodium and don't drink anymore. Lost 63lbs.

Broccoli might be something to try. I can't eat raw broccoli (makes me want to gag) except when dipped in something. As far as "normal", I've never been accused of that. 🙂

Absolutely no on a trailer, and I should have been more clear that I will carry the XR for sure, the Zero maybe, and never both. Just one at a time. There will not be a trailer in my life again, period.

Trailer would be my first choice as well as long there is convenient place to store it. I know it is EV so range reduction when towing could be a bitch but Rivian punches much bigger hole in the air vs. Tesla 3, it should be almost none issue in case of small trailer. My little utility 5x8 trailer has tilted bed, I don't even fuck with the ramp. No ramps. Wheel chuck in the nose, couple straps, and, boom, ready to roll. About 20 % mpg drop, but I tow with Volvo XC70, essentially lifted station wagon. Not much of frontal area.

I saw this at COTA, Know Rick used similar for his bikes at Jennings a couple times in the past.

Same conundrum for me, except the bed is out (Excursion, and that's MY bed). A hitch hauler was nearly perfect for what I did for a long time, even with the 990ADV. But now there are at least two bikes. The self-leveling would be an amazing benefit whichever way you go. But Tom makes the likely accurate observation that no matter which one is on the carrier, it's the other one you'll want to use. You'll be motherfucking that choice every time you have to drop the hitch hauler bike to get to the one in the bed. Rivian may not have a place at the table yet in terms of aftermarket support, but there are those bed extenders that double as a ramp and work pretty well. I may actually have one from a GMC if you want to try to retrofit it. Final answer though - I'm with Tim. Though it is an additional piece of equipment to register, maintain, store, etc... it's just the best answer. I'm slowly coming around to it myself, and it's painful because I like a simple, self-contained one-piece unit. But it isn't simple anymore (or... again). And that's okay, the benefits largely outweigh the negatives, just have to adapt.

A carrier would probably be easiest and possibly most aerodynamic if it's low enough, but probably limited to one unless you make something. To carry both I'd say bed, or maybe the zero in the bed and XR on a carrier.

So while I'm figuring out how to update the topic title I'll give an update. First thing I did was check oil level. That was fine so second guessing my original guess on why engine not turning over. Next thing was to put up on center stand, put bike in 5th and try to rotate wheel backwards (Thanks Joe). Moved a little bit so I thought I would try hitting the starter again. Bike turned over! Sweet! Not hydrolocked. Flat spot in starter? Who knows. I am dealing with a fuel delivery issue though because bike will not start. Catches on full choke but will not stay running. Only firing a bit while starter engaged and choke on. End of vacuum hose was dry and split so trimmed it and reconnected. Still same. Is there a way to test the valve/diaphragm to see if it works? What do I need to apply enough vacuum to see if the diaphragm is still good. My lips? As usual thank you all for your help.

Actually, I just realized that mine can't because I've by-passed the vacuum line. Fuck you beetlejuice!

Good call - that should have been first, check oil level and odor.

Look at you with the show off numbers 😀 Thanks for rec but I do think I read that the wrist ones could have less accuracy but I don’t recall how or why. I did the readings for two weeks and they stayed in that slightly higher that ideal zone, nothing crazy high. I call the doc who was away now until the end of April. Reception said they’d leave a not about my readings for the doc on her return. I’m not too worried about it at this point but will continue to try to improve by making more healthier daily choices.
