SwampNut
This is a predictable failure because Americans just are too emotional and illogical for this vehicle. It had a place, and as I told Moriah, people are too stupid to use this solution. I bet it would have sold in congested EU cities. https://www.theautopian.com/piles-of-cheap-three-wheel-electric-cars-are-dying-in-a-junkyard/ They are in a real junk yard, but they don't list them in inventory. So I'm going to call and see what they cost, if they will even sell them.

Zero Knievel
Sounds like they failed because they were junk and the manufacturer couldn’t fix the issue, so they wouldn’t sell.
RXX
Maybe the price point was out of whack.

That's my understanding. They had to recall them and couldn't fix them.

If you're standing at the gate speaking Mexican and holding American dollars it might be a different answer. In your text you said there's another pile of them in Huntingon Beach; if you have details I'll try my luck with them.

I can't find any more info, other than their own web site said the collection points were those two cities; Mesa and Huntington Beach. My best guess is that since they classified this as an NHTSA safety recall, and absolute, they can't be sold.

Hi, I've been sent to pick up all of your undamaged operable vehicles for further testing.
tomek
Let's inject reality and facts into this thread. They had 25-50 mile range. Lol. 16-18 grand for that? Really? Edited August 4 by tomek
tomek
Forgot to mention 20kw or 27hp engine giving 0 to 60 time of "eventually". No wonder nobody wanted it.
