Hit the starter and it sounds like its engaging but motor does not turn over. Make sure you are working with a strong battery because even though it is turning over, I have found that my bikes get harder to start when the battery gets weak. I'm running cables to my jeep for good juice. Once the battery runs down that is. I've got the battery back on the Tender. Brand new battery last year. superhawk996 Posted April 22 Share Posted April 22 Mouth suction is more than enough to open it, it doesn't take much. If the gas isn't super old, my guess is that the carbs need cleaning. The little spongy breather filter I’m gonna make myself. Going to cut the yellow part off one of these kitchen sponges and use the green Part and cut it to size.
