  1. It was a photo of my F-150 cylinder head, I was pretty sure it wasn't going to post but decided to try just in case something changed after submitting. I've been having trouble posting photos, I pitched a fit to the admin team so they're sending Carlos to my house tomorrow to sort that out. Since there's no photo- Holy shit, my 230k mile cylinder head looks like new inside! Only the driver's side, the passenger is darker and that's because of how the PCV flows. Air comes in through the driver's side and leaves through the passenger side so that one's always dirtier/darker since it's hotter and the air is full of combustion byproducts.

  3. $800...that's a cute starter set 😂
  4. That's not feasible, unless you only use specific sockets it was calibrated with. And I'm guessing that when the engineering team hands it to their legal legal team they'd burn the plans.
  5. My Ryobi on setting 1 is about perfect for car lug nuts at around 100ft.lbs, it just stops. For trucks wanting 150-200 ft.lbs. I use #2 and let up when it slows way down. Axle nuts get #3 'till it slows down. When I'm installing Bugatti lug nuts I rip them full throttle #3, carbon fiber wheels can take that.
  6. I have a mild love for Ryobi only because they've retained lagacy platform batteries. They do have some different ones for yard tools, but I can put my modern lithium batteries into all of my old tools that came with NiCd batteries and I like that.
  7. A 100nm gun rated as 1000 is ridiculous, that'd be enough for me to demand a refund.
  8. My guess was the same as Rockme, it might bolt up, but probably won't have the desired spring rate or valving.
  9. I still like sweets but no longer desire to gorge on them. And if something's just ok I think "nah, not worth the calories" where I would have previously thought "bummer that they're not great" while eating them.
  10. That was me before I fasted. Now I can ignore the cookies or just have one and enjoy it.
  11. Color might be an issue, I don't know if that's a legal requirement or just what everyone does to help identify them. I think the main issue is EPA/CARB compliance and that's why they started using different colors and not calling them gas cans. Funny thing, unless it's been corrected; EPA approved cans don't meet OSHA requirements and vice versa. EPA says no vent, OSHA says they must have a vent or pressure relief.
  12. AFAIK JASO only looks at clutch performance, the oil can be shit for the engine and trans and still carry the JASO cert. I don't think API SN oil belongs in a bike engine, unless it has a roller cam, then it might be ok. SN might also be bad for gears. JASO is a bit confusing. There's JASO, JASO MA1, and JASO MA2 and there's a few test parameters that will dictate the rating. In simple terms: MA2 is grippier, MA1 is slipperier, and JASO without an MA number means that it tested as MA1 in some areas and MA2 in others and you won't actually know how it's going to act unless you find and decipher the test results.
  13. I was wondering if/when it would be put into coffee heating service.
  14. using our federally legal fully semi automatic rifles? About to start a thread on that.
  15. If we camped in Glamis cops would bust you for having that as a gas can, I shit you not. I don't know know if they have the legal right to check their contents or if people just let them, but I've heard of several people being cited and having their "unapproved" gas cans confiscated there. We don't have that level of enforcement in Ocotillo, and it probably further helps that we're 'our' on private property.
