dosx
Yes it is  I followed the link to your eBay auction. Thanks,
jimmystartup
I've been bidding on some of these and trying to ask for part numbers ahead of time. Man...some of these sellers respond slowly. Can anyone tell me if the 92-95 shocks change at all? Some descriptions say they'll fit 92-99 but the difference (besides length) is the way the hose attaches to the reservoir. On one, it comes out of the shock at a 90 degree angle and straight into the reservoir and on the other it is reversed, straight out of the shock and into the reservoir at a 90 degree angle. I'm confused...
Flying Scott
Hey if you spend all day chopping up hot Fireblades what times left for emails.....?
jimmystartup
Well I ended up getting screwed. The guy didn't respond so I took my chances, submitted a low bid, won and received a 900RR shock MAS-003. Crap, totally useless. I'm too damn impatient when it comes to buying bike parts.

Mr.XX
Ok, so is there enough interest to do a group buy on the springs?? I am impatiently waiting on the rest of you guys Who is ready to order ...Raise your hand :bike: and say "I"
Hokie
[irritiation level = HIGH] Just for the record, this thread was to determine what weight spring to get since we had already determined that there was enough interest to move foreward in another thread. Then it stalled out when it cam time to choose a weight for the spring. We had at least 10 people who were in, then only got about 6 votes for spring weights when it was time to pony up the $$. [/irritiation level = HIGH] Anyway, I am in, for the 16.
Mr.XX
OK guys who is still interested in doing this order lets start a new thread ...would be great over the winter project ...that way there is no need to rush the shipping So whos in??
TimXX
Question: I know the suspension moves 4.7" total- but how much does the shock compress at its shortest point? If 12-5/8" is the max figure, what is the minimum? Thanks for info. TimXX
v00d00child
Having just bought a house, if we don't do this order soon, I'm gonna wind up blowing the money on drapes or some other fluffy puffy crap. SwampNut
Ok, I fucked around on this too long! I'm going over to the spring place right now. When I get back I'll post cost and collect payments. I have to prepay the order in full, so I'll ask that everyone that wants one do that also. I'll account for all the costs as soon as I have them. SwampNut
Then there's mounting... Do you guys have access to a place that can put the spring on the shock? I had a hell of a time finding a place. Only one with a compressor is a Harley aftermarket performance place. So I kicked around the idea of buying one if people want to send me the shocks to swap the spring.

Can't you just rent one from Checker or some other car parts place? Maybe the car ones are too big for this purpose?
SwampNut
Yeah, they won't work. Since I've got the RaceTech spring I had to try to find a way to change it, and had a hell of a time.
