  1. boing boing boing boing boing Tiggers bounce, but my XX doesn't. don't want to have to buy a penske shock.... boing boing boing boing boing
  2. Bastage! My 900 shock is still sitting in the box waiting for a spring.
  3. Can't you just rent one from Checker or some other car parts place? Maybe the car ones are too big for this purpose?
  4. SwampNut, I am in for the 16.8 let me know about the $$$
  5. [irritiation level = HIGH] Just for the record, this thread was to determine what weight spring to get since we had already determined that there was enough interest to move foreward in another thread. Then it stalled out when it cam time to choose a weight for the spring. We had at least 10 people who were in, then only got about 6 votes for spring weights when it was time to pony up the $$. [/irritiation level = HIGH] Anyway, I am in, for the 16.8
  6. I am for getting it done here if the spring is not the correct length.
  7. If your system was made for non 5.0 fluid 5.0 will ruin it. Even if you evacuate the whole system there will still be left over fluid. 5.0 and 5.1 do not mix, also I think 5.0 will eat the seals in a 5.1 compatible system. Note: 5.1 is compatible with DOT 3 and 4.
  8. Here are the measurements from the stock 900RR spring 165mm Long 50.65 mm (Inside Diameter one end) 57.13mm (Inside Diameter other end)
  9. Thanks for the info! I spaced and forgot to measure mine last night, I'll post the measurements this evening as a comparison.
  10. RodeRash that would be cool! The one you sent me was the stock 900 one right?! Just checking. Swampnut: I was at home over lunch and started to measure that spring, one end is larger thatn the other end, inside diameter wise, and not by just a little either. Does this seem right to you? Then I got sidetracked and couldn't finish up the measurements. More info to follow......
  11. Actually, I do not have a "ruler" since there is not a King in this country. If I look around I might have a "rule" to measure the length with.... PS - Granted ruler also means rule but not as its first meaning in the dictionary. I'll get back to you on the diameter and length this evening.
  12. I can do the diameter, but NOT the length since the calipers are only good for about 6".
  13. It is the stock spring. I got the shock and spring from RodeRash last week. WE can ask him just to make sure but I am 100% positive it is the 900 RR stocker, it is red and the part number on the shock is MWO-003. How accurate are we talking? I have some dial calipers that could probably do the inside diameter but they are definitely not big enough for the length. I'd be willing to send it wherever it needs to go to get measured though.
  14. What kind of measurement are you looking for? I have a stock spring that is off of the shock at the moment.
  15. I would not care what the cost was now that I have it. I almost NEVER listen to the crappy regular radio anymore. XM kicks ass, great music, no editing on most stations, and tons of selection. You should look at the Delphi solution, portable and less than $250 I think. No installation either. I got the Alpine FM modulated one. By far one of two best purchases I have made this year. The other one was switching to Dish Network over crappy Digital Cable. I got the DISH receiver with their brand of TiVO built in, that has to be one of the best inventions ever. Moving to Denver, ey?
