  1. Yes, well, fuck. Stopping and giving a whack with hammer got, eventually, old. Shockingly enough for those two weeks, or about 3000 miles when I "fixed" the clutch with wire from coat hanger nothing else went wrong. Back in the day when AC on my Ex's Volvo was doing that I fixed it by shimming shims with really thin stainless steel safety wire. Or some other quality ghetto engineering. It's been long.
  2. I had this issue of clutch not engaging on Freightliner. Intermittent kinda, but mostly when hot. Something to due with gap too great I guess. Got tired with mechanic's lazy ass excuses for not replacing compressor -"nobody replace clutches any longer, new compressor is only 150 bucks" - and "I'll get it done day after tomorrow" for two months, and on one particularly hot and steamy day I just pulled over, and made clutch permanent by jamming coat hanger that just happened to be there. I drove like that for two weeks till they finally replaced it. Lol
  3. Anywhy, if have too much caffeine, or drink it outside of morning the sleep deteriorates. Normally I have no issues with sleeping like a brick for 8-9 hrs but if overcoffeinated I'll wake up at 4-5 am, and that'll be it for the sleep.
  4. Folger is to coffee like Miller Lite to actual beer. Fake. Outside of United States they would lynch for serving Folgers.
  5. Balanced diet is the key. Some here think eating truckloads of corn and soybean products, avoiding meat and dairy is the key. Lol. Having said that not all chicken and pork are created equal. Mass produced chicken in United States is horrible, it does not even tastes like proper chicken. Even organic varieties are iffy sometimes. Same for dairy and eggs. I don't and can't drink non organic milk in United States. White 1.99$ eggs per dozen are nasty as well. Just plain horrible, testes like shit. Same for cheap yogurt and farmers cheese. You can buy any chicken, eggs, dairy in Poland, and it tastes better vs. way more expensive organic counterparts in United States. I'm pretty sure average meat is Hong Kong is indefinitely better quality vs. mass produced counterparts in United States.
  6. Well, that's why you should eat meat, fish and dairy. Have not declined as much. Good source of copper and iron. Much of mass produced veggies and fruits are pretty much worthless.
  7. Ice cream sucks. The truckloads of sugar they put into it makes it totally uneatable. At least for me.
  8. You have not missed much. From the distance it can pass as a cheese. And that's about it. Does not taste like cheese. Wife buys, sometimes, those plant based yogurts. Some of them don't taste that horrible, except not like yogurt. No idea why they call those plant based products "cheese" and "yogurt". Nobody calls vinyl laminated floor "wood"
  9. Well, newer superbike engines do have finger followers, kinda like rocker in that sense lift on the camshaft is not equal to the lift of the valve. Cbrxx engine is from shim under the bucket era. Facts matter. 😁
  10. Well, that's interesting. Are you sure that was XX engine because there are no rockers there? Maybe it was your lawnmower?
  11. Seriously, I keep it in the freezer. Disconnect hose, (push-pull connector), let gravity drain it. Throw it in freezer. Lasts forever.
  12. This is what I use. Cheap and good quality.
  13. Freezer
  14. Technically some Shell rotallas do carry JASO wet clutch specs, but I'm actually with you on that. I think car and diesel oils are now very far from what motorcycles need, and simply tranny/clutch work much better on bike spec'd oils. Days you could throw some car/diesel oil on the bike, and could not tell the difference are over. I use either bike specific Mobil 1, or Maxima triple ester racing oil. Chaparral usually has good price on latter, free shipping.
  15. Just put the bitch in the gear, pull in the clutch, rock it back and forth and clutch should free up right away. I'm with super hawk in this. Reminds me my friend and his old Mustang 5.0. The thing sat on his driveway for 2-3 years. He just stopped driving it. Decided to sell it but the starter would not turn the engine. He came to conclusion moisture in the engine, etc. and it just locked up. I said "I don't think so". It was manual. I put it in the gear, like 3rd, back and forth couple times. It fired right up. He was amazed.
  16. Chinese test certificates are totally legit. Always. You can be absolutely certain what was tested is what you are receiving.
  17. My brain hurts just by looking at this maze. Mechanical computer for FW 190 with air-cooled BMW 801 engine. That would be German WW2 fighter. Pilot only had to push "throttle", this apparatus adjusted propeller pitch, rpm, boost, spark advance, throttle and mixture automatically. In 1942. Drive by wire via mechanical means. Try to fix it if something was wrong. Lol.
  18. Automatic transmission, one with planetary gears and torque converter, is one and the only one area of automotive world I have absolutely no clue about.
  19. BTW, that cheap Chinesium top case worked very well. No issues, seals very well. No dust getting inside. I mentioned that because OEM cases on Victory I rented couple years ago in Alaska would let dust get inside of all 3 bags.
  20. I'd never ever head East on camping trip. Why? Rain. That's why. It does not rain much in The West in July and August. I go every year, and can remember only one particular instance when it rained during the night. Glacier National Park circa 15 years ago. Rain started somewhere after midnight, and it kept coming till about noon. That's it. Btw, thanks for the wire.
  21. Well, it depends. If it is nutritious, no harmful shit in it- why not. Everytime I see livestock truck heading in same direction I turn my head the other way. I don't wanna see those poor animals on their last journey in their lives.

    Faulty sensors

British made car. It is a small miracle she still runs.
  23. Technically yes, but only during shifts and engine braking operation.
  24. Just make one of your dogs sit on her lap. Problem solved. Btw, my ex was/is in 110 pounds range. Never had that issue.
