  1. Guess who has the motorcycle to ride in the back of the truck?
  2. Black and Vegan That needs a smart ass comment.
  3. Once again the mighty .org has brought a huge smile and two wheels to someone without. Middle son helped me unload it in Gardiner and promptly rode it around the block, All GRINS! His BMW has been down for a year or so, 180K, it will be retired. Thank You Scott! Next trip thru I'll bring a case of Cold Smoke for the crew, did not have time to source it this trip. Fabulous Dealership BTW.
  4. Dang, probably a good thing my son is going to a RC competition and I'm not bringing a trailer. I'll be there Sat morning.
  5. Shucks, Idaho Falls is a few hours from me. I'll happily do it if no one else will.
  6. We (two sons + me) have six beemers. Oldest is '84 which will fire up and run fine anytime. One has 160 thousand and just got a new clutch. All but one have over 100K, that one has 85K and is my long distance ride. I have had no major problems with any of them, nor with the blackbird. The Africa Twin I'm not so sure of.
  7. Thrilling packaging? I think I'd want to close it back up and open it again every week or so, cheap thrills.

    Tire Shop

What's the stuff that restores rubber?
  9. It doesn't take much to hold the needle open, common problem with the honda 350s in the 80s. Just a few microns of something in the fuel will do it. There is a reason for the automotive type fuel filters on newer bikes. The only two bikes I have with carbs get an auto filter.

    Jeep Questions/help

Off topic but I saw a spare cover on the back of a black jeep that had "I'm the Black Jeep of the Family".
  11. Peel, cut however you wish, leave the root section till the very last cut and you won't need goggles. Taught to me by a Mexican prep cook in the Casa Maria restaurant. Amazing how fast he could dice onions.
  12. Just use your finger, just a light tingle as long as your thumb is on a ground first.😋
