  1. Do they expect a gratuity?

I might drop my stand down like that, though. It is sitting on crushed gravel right now. I can use my new bucket teeth to excavate a hole. That really would be sweet.
  3. Thanks, Bill. I ran with your rabbit hole-exploring. Looks like it is for a hose that runs to throttle body in the 300 straight six engine. I will grab a plug from NAPA and plug it for another decade or two.

And those all look to be VA tags. Still, nice!
  5. Aftermarket radiator on '93 F150 5L This bung is beginning to leak. What is it called, where do I find one, or what would I use instead? Thanks!

Yeah, that's nice right there. I will echo Mike, not possible for me. Because, well, chickens.
  7. BRILLIANT!!
  8. A lot of work went into that. I’ll pass.
  9. Hey, Mike…… There’s a guy in Maryville (PJ’s Church of Speed) that I highly recommend. Good, fair prices from a guy who really knows his shit. Retired navy turbine mechanic. He will R&R while you wait. Your tires or his. Yes, you would have to ride or trailer down, and yes, blah blah blah, but you would have it done about as well as anywhere.
  10. That is not true at all.
  11. Sounds exactly how I did it.

  13. Labor of necessity meets labor of love. Great job!
  14. To answer that question: Bike is ~125K. I am not sure what all Mike replaced during his coolant system adventures, but since she was going to be undressed I ordered new OEM radiator hoses. Silly me, I did not think about THERMOSTAT/water pump hoses. They were in a different fiche. So I have OEM upper and lower radiator hoses and original(?) thermostat/water pump hoses. Spent the better part of a day looking for a replacement. No luck. The big, I mean big hose distributor in Knoxville said they mostly deal with silicone now. So candy color is not a big deal, but I almost painted my wheels red.
  15. Does the ratio matter? (Honest question)
  16. I am also running Evans. I discovered the leak only after refilling and letting it run up to the fan cutting on, then cooling, refilling, etc. Appeared as a very slow leak after the 4th cycle. I am on the 5th cycle now with no leak. I am using an IR probe and it shows fan cutting on at 226 degrees each time. Going to do a few more cycles today on the lift, then call it done. I had to cut 1” off the hose, so each end in 1/2” shy of butting up fully.
  17. Jose “A” was replaced by Zero. I guess it got blown then.
  18. Do NOT and I mean DO NOT fuck up your Hose B from water pump to thermostat. Made from unobtainium. Maybe get a set of silicone or something before you start.
  19. Joe, just a few (and I mean like 6 or so) from the start of the dragon is a joint called 6 mile motorcycle. It would be a gift to the universe if you would stop in while you are down here. They may buy your inventory or just take it off your hands. I don’t know. Edited - fuck. Permanently closed.
  20. Joe, bring a ‘99 with you and we can haggle. I really don’t need one, but just in case? Also, do you have a presentable hose “B” (From water pump to thermostat)? It is a long story, summed up in 3 words. I’m no mechanic.
  21. I don’t recall. Maybe we could ummmm, look at the report. Nope, not Amsoil. You checked clearances? When? That is great, I would never have done that. In all fairness, Mike did a great job of maintaining the bike and was much more meticulous than I am.
