Nova Scotia Mike Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Any suggestions? I hate mowing the fucking hills and would prefer some low maintenance semi attractive ( read semi very loosely) vegetation or otherwise. Obviously I'm in Nova Scotia so something with big enough balls to survive winter is required. Fuck mowing hills. Quote
googus Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Burning Bush. Fragrant Sumac. Japanese Yew. California Lilac. Creeping Juniper. Dwarf Forsythia. Snowberry. Siberian Carpet Cypress. Quote
JoWhee Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 +1 on sumac, they're pretty high for allergens, but if they can grow up here beside highways and get sprayed with salt half the year, they should do well in NS. They grow fairly quickly and turn awesome shades of red come fall. Quote
blackhawkxx Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I don't know jack about it but anything with the name Siberian in it has to be able to survive the winter anywhere. Quote

superhawk996 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 (edited) I knew it would be worth taking another look at this thread when I saw what I used to think was a weird vagina that I finally see is a mouse. Edited September 2, 2017 by superhawk996 Quote

Any weeds either pull out easily or just spray them with Round Up or the vegetation killer of your choice. Done. Quote
