Ok, so this was all handled automatically by eBay?  Sorry if it sounds stupid; it used to be you had to book the escrow on your own, THEN go put in the details for it in the listing.  If I just go list jewelry it does this?

Go to a STAMP show... and UNLOAD !  Done.

+1, like a gun show, but probably more nerdy than a Star Wars/Cosplay con.

Right down to the mandatory shipping label to their chosen authenticator.  Then you get a tracker... that not only tracks the package with FedX - but "the authenticator is currently inspecting your item and should be done in 2 hours, please come back.

Very promising, thanks.  I'd love to find one of those people who does the sales intermediary, like there are for fashion items on Mercari and Poshmark.  Just give it to them, "lose" 25%, but be done.

I remember seeing tag huerer at Costco about twenty or thirty years ago. Not too expensive, a few hundred I think. Wonder how much those ones are worth today. Any idea?

I went to a large stamp show year before last. Maybe it was the wrong one. LOL. An old guy asked me, "Do you have any friends who collect stamps?"  When he replied he explained stamp collectors were dying out. We sold two boxes for $500, but ironically they didn't really want the stamps, but the post cards they were affixed to. I think collectors are like porn hounds, they each have a weird, different kind of kink. I need to find the right show or the right collector and make them take everything.

My dad had cigar boxes full of Zeppelin airship Stamps, not sure where those ended up, but I saw some of them listed from $800 to $1500 each.

A convention of old stamp nerds with specific kinks.  Ugh.  At least cosplay con has some scenery to go with their kinks.

Exactly.

From my understanding, Tags don't hold value or appreciate like Rolex and some other brands, but some vintage ones might bring decent money.

Spot on other than older ones bringing decent money. Not really. Unless we are talking about the late 1800 early 19 models. Which were pocket watches.  Everything else - not really.
