  1. Hello, did I see several years back you put ceramic headers on your XX. Did it make a difference?

I bought them quite a while back but installed them somewhat recently.  From memory, at idle the surface temp is about 100F lower on the headpipes than a stock header; 300ish vs 400ish.  I don't ride very often, but I'm pretty sure the felt heat on the legs is much lower than it was with the uncoated header.  My last couple rides I felt no notable heat, but they weren't hot days.  I know it sounds wishy-washy, but I don't like to portray gut feelings as factual statements.  Theoretically there should be a performance gain, but I switched a few systems back & forth so I have no clue if there was a gain.  Visually they're a great addition, the dark rusty header looked awful against my white paint.

I think I posted the measured temperatures in a thread where I talked about replacing cecome's headers but don't remember the thread title, the fresh memory numbers would be there.

      Search words: cecome header

There's a few threads talking about this header vs stock vs Yoshimura.

Ok thanks for letting me know.  Feel free to keep me posted if you get a hot day anytime soon.
