Nice. Futurama meets Farmtruck. Or is it Farmtruck meets Futurama? I believe he said he had 60K invested. If I put half that money into my Frontier, I think it would be about as fast, better looking, and only loose a point or two in the "sleeper" category.
  2. Factory forgot to grease slide pin? Long-shot guess: Return spring missing from rear brake pedal?
  3. I actually try to not park like a dick, so it wouldn't be deserved for that. However, I have likely done some things in traffic that might tick off a Karen enough to do that. I think you're right about preparedness.
  4. I keep a tool roll in my truck, with a good pair of diagonal cutters. I'd have it off in 30 seconds.
  5. This. Especially, that last part. Pretty sure my demise will be the result of the above statement some day. My sister was concerned about how much it costs to have a tree trimmed. I said, I would do it. What was I thinking?
  6. Yeah, I hate it when they give you the "silent treatment".
  7. Not having to open the door?
  8. I understand the desire for a diesel in an off-road application, but why opt for less power? Or can you actually get those 5 bangers to make steam like a Cummins? I've heard the 4 cylinder UPS truck engines can be turbo'd-up nicely.
  9. Me? I've been doing a lot of research on building a sleeper-ish daily driver. A 2000s era F-150 with a Godzilla motor would be fun, I think. However, I think I've settled on putting an LS in my Nissan Frontier Pro4X.
  10. If that was a little more than you wanted: https://theinfamousproject.com/shop/ford-7-3-godzilla-v8-motor-swap-package/ Or just buy an old rental, or wrecked 15-passenger van. Not sure what year they started using the Godzilla V-8.
  11. Piece of cake. Now let's see them install a Godzilla in that F-150.😆
  12. A good friend of mine and I joked about having a YT channel, and naming it "I'll tell you what!" (Say it with a southern drawl). It would be like Roadkill meets the Red-Green show.
  13. I should not watch your videos. I just get jealous of the tools you have. I can probably afford them, but don't make enough stuff to justify the expense. You could make that same plate with my tools, but it would be like having Windows 95 on your current computer,,,,,,,maybe.
  14. I have cut a lot of aluminum on my old craftsmen table saw (I think it's older than me), including air-craft T-bar. Use a carbide-tipped blade, feed very slow, and you'll be fine. Dang sure wear safety glasses. Those chips go everywhere.
  15. That's what I was thinking, but I would have replaced the points first thing, just because they are not known for reliability, and are normally pretty cheap. Haven't bought any in a very long time, so maybe they aren't cheap anymore.
  16. But very poor fuel mileage.
  17. I figured you had the spiral-type. Breaking one of those in a soft steel bleed screw, definitely makes the material suspect. Heat-treat may have not happened. That being said, what did you expect for that price?
  18. Cool video. Never thought about switching pin locations in a plug. Definitely, much cleaner, and less permanent. Your voice is nothing like I expected. You sound like you're 25. The fact that the button location bothered you enough to go through this wiring change says you're much older. 😄
  19. If that nipple is corroded into the caliper housing, I would just buy a new caliper, or at least do a full rebuild where you can drill out the old bleed screw properly.
  20. The one I bought is a little different, as it has about a 3/8" spacer, so shouldn't get too hot for a boot. It looks like CF, but isn't. I actually looked (lazily) for one in CF, but couldn't find it. I just hope vibration doesn't break the welds too soon.
  21. Thanks, Carlos for posting this. I need that exhaust shield for the new extension on my drag bike. It already has a nice black spot from my boot.
  22. Does that qualify them to be Keto friendly?
  23. Not a huge veggie guy, but I would eat that, and like it. Reminds me a little of the steak salad at Twin Peaks. Yum. For balance, I wash it down with a fat free beer.
  24. LOL. I understand. FYI, that black, heavy wheel chock I have actually has a label that says "Trackside", just in case you still wanted to know. I assume that is the brand. Looks like you found a good deal on a Baxley, though.
