I had that thought. The V-twin would be perfect for having a pair of truck stacks poking out of the roof. But the bike is too nice to do that to it.

Thoughts on this vehicle (2025 Rav4 Hybrid Limited)

I'd be all over it, but you probably didn't even do a break-in oil change so forgetaboutit. That's actually a very pretty cartruck and seems like a good deal, wish I had a use for it. -

Tow capacity used to be whatever the manufacturer wanted to list, now they're based on SAE tests. The new one will tow way better in every way, the only thing I don't know is how well the hybrid system will hold up to the additional constant load. How often do you have back seat passengers? -
I doubt a misfire would cause a heater code, I think the computer's only way of detecting that is by the resistance in the heater circuit. The only times I've had that code it was bad heaters, but there can be other causes. I've never had a coil only cause a miss only under heavy load or high RPM, but it's possible.

I stood up on it and didn't hit the roof so you should be fine. Hard to say for sure, but it seems roomy enough for a taller person.

OEM coils are spendy, aftermarket are hit and miss. I typically swap the suspect coil to another cylinder and see if the missfire follows it. In this case I'd probably swap the wire to another cylinder to see if it follows that. I'd also check the spark plug condition and brand, some engines are picky about using OEM. If the miss stays on that cylinder I'd throw in some injector cleaner, Techron is my go-to, but anything with PEA should work.

What truck is this?

I forgot, 46k. When looking at others for sale to figure out value I was somewhat surprised to find several over 100k.

I rarely post my flip vehicles here, but this is in very good condition so I figured I should just in case someone's interested in a big cruiser. It has a loud exhaust and an almost as loud sound system, and a Power Commander. It was garage kept, the year of dust is included free of charge. The tires have good tread, but they're 10 years old. Fly & ride or ship it.

You should open all conversations with that, and remind yourself of it throughout the conversation.

And I hope they gave you enough money to make this worthwhile.

What Carlos said, plus sliding certain metals across each other is like nails on a chalkboard to me, particularly SS.

MSRP is $5k, kickstarter for $2,500, so you don't have to wait 'till the end to find out that it's not cheap.

Just saw this. It's mostly 5/16 and 3/8. I have lots of long screws, few shorts. I'm out or nearly out of non-locking nuts for one and washers for the other. But if you find yourself with an excess of 1/4, they'll get used.

If you want to be able to weld on it, make a metal table then a wood/melamine slab you can throw on top of it for doing other things. If you don't weld, you could do the opposite and have a steel topper for your wood table, but I don't think you'd need steel unless you expect to drop heavy/pointy stuff onto it. Thinking about solving your problem solved one for me. I have a large SS table but mostly hate working on steel so it's been a junk shelf, I might make a wood/melamine topper for it, or maybe just lay a sheet of melamine on it if it lays flat on its own.

So you're saying the hardness is closer to cold cheddar than warm butter? It looks like you could just have the new jack push on the frame and have the pin just to keep it from being able to slip outward. If not, I'd weld a loop or large nut onto the lifting pad of the new jack, or eliminate the pin and make a 'cup' for the lifting pad to sit in.

I listened to a couple minutes of the video before having to turn it off, the dude sounds like a goof. He implied that it's cheap and easy to make, but his video hits me like an infomercial trying to sell the stuff. If he isn't trying to sell it and is merely dumbing it down for dumb people to understand it that's fine, I'm ok with being wrong about him.

We should go to meetings or something. Yes. Be sure to send me the details so I can attend, I need this. And let me know how big of a vehicle I should bring. I'm nearly out of normal fasteners in a few common sizes and it kills me. By 'normal' I mean not stainless, not socket head, etc. I 'should' buy a few bulk boxes of them, but then I'm sure I'll run across a stash of them somewhere and regret it.

2012 is past the years I'd say are simple reliable trucks. That ship probably sailed when the 5.9 was replaced by the 6.7. I'm curious about the valve thing, is it valve springs breaking or are they just sticking in the guides? Or is it some other valve, not intake/exhaust? I'd gladly trade my 7.3 for a properly bulletproofed 6.0.

You want something simple and reliable that gets good fuel mileage, or a new truck for $70k+ that you can't depend on and is a bitch to work on? My roomie Randy bought a new Ram 3500 diesel, it has about 6 miles on it, the dealer fun has already begun. It didn't break down, yet. It had a few things that needed doing, they said it was a 3 hour job 3 days ago. They knew he needed to pick it up yesterday for a crack of dawn road trip this morning, at around 3PM yesterday he discovered that nothing had been done, including one thing they'd told him was already done the day before. It's no knock on the truck, but an indication of how it might go when it needs warrantee repairs.

The intake grid heater on some years, I think it's a screw that falls out and gets ingested. The primary fuel pump, AKA lift pump. When it fails the engine still runs but the injection pump runs hot and can take a crap. I think it'll probably die without doing engine damage, not entirely sure.

Anyone who's spent enough time with red heads is bound to end up with SPS, unless he manages to keep her away from the knife drawer. -
Meh, nothing special, they're everywhere. Around here.

New/Unopened - Honda EU2200i

$50 for everything shipped. I'd offer more, but since they're unopened that means that you haven't detailed them which is damn near a deal breaker. I think I recall you talking about buying them, but don't remember details. Why did you, and why selling?
