  1. I noticed Weight Watchers commensals have shifted to talking about using WW with weight lose drugs.
  2. It's larger with two doors that open and all metal. Came out of a manufacturing plant and must be 50+ years old and is well made. The work bench is all wood.
  3. Very cool! Like said, the safety nazis will be all over this thing.
  4. All good points. I do have a old but well made metal floor cabinet that I cleared the top last year after doing a big rearrange. The top is too thin to do anything too abusive but the heavier metal could be added to that. I have a bench top drill press mounted to it, I guess welding wouldn't harm that?
  5. Both you and Carlos said you dislike working on a metal bench but didn't say why? I have also considered doing half the bench in metal and heavy wood on the other side so at least there would be a small place for abusive stuff.
  6. Everything. I don't have the luxury of the room for multiple work surfaces. Building nice wooden things doesn't happen in my garage, I beat stuff apart, weld, bend and assemble things.
  7. I would love a heavy metal top for mine. Not sure were to look for it though.
  8. I think the eyelet at the top makes it unique while also needing to be the correct length.
  9. Cool!
  10. Did you take it apart first?
  11. While I wasn't taking notes and could be wrong, I believe he was saying that it starts with the valve guide coming loose, hanging the valve and starting the issues. Just how common this is I don't know, didn't ask. Yes the early Cummins has a cult following around here also for not only reliability but simplicity. He put one in a Ford for a guy.
  12. My son bought a 2004 3/4 Dodge 4wd with 200K+ on it last fall from a friend. Rusty body but good frame $6,500. He was just telling me last night how the Dodges has some engine major issues (diesel) I think about 2012 with valve hanging up, killing pistons. He's a diesel mechanic and is know in the area for fixing the Ford 6.0's.
  13. You may have them but many are crazy money for the age and miles.
  14. And look how that turned out, totaled. 😀
  15. I see you upgraded your brewery system.
  16. Packaged by Stevie Wonder.
  17. How it spreads Avian influenza A (bird flu) viruses may be transmitted from infected birds to other animals, and potentially to humans, in two main ways: Directly from infected birds or from avian influenza A virus-contaminated environments. Through an intermediate host, such as another animal. Direct infection can occur from exposure to saliva, mucous, or feces from infected birds. Bird flu infections among people are rare; however, human infections can happen when enough virus gets into a person's eyes, nose, or mouth, or is inhaled. People with close or prolonged unprotected contact (not wearing respiratory and eye protection) with infected birds or places that sick birds or their mucous, saliva, or feces have contaminated, might be at greater risk of bird flu virus infection. 18. How long before the patents are off and becomes affordable for the average person?
  19. So you don't leave your bits in the nice Dewalt cases they come in? I guess I have bought others separately but not as many as you apparently.
  20. So what is it designed to hold?
  21. "Might need it someday". Just never know.
  22. I didn't know that but the inconvenience having to go to the house to get gloves every time I need them would outweigh the cost of my H.F. gloves.
