  1. I bought this a few years ago for the wife. I never used it unless two up. I'm one of the few that liked the stock seat. She broke her foot right after buying these and hasn't been able to ride. It has about 300 miles on it. It's been Conditioned far more than it has been out of the garage (used about twice). Still even have box to ship it in. Sold the bike today so this doesn't do me much good. It's all black with the standard light texture leather and a standard all black 02-sb back rest. Same as the this one without the red piping http://www.corbin.com/honda/cbrxx.shtml . Will email you photos if you want. $668 new and this one won't be any different. Don't use Ebay much, but I do have a 100 percent rating.
  2. For those that don't have google http://www.motionpro.com/?gclid=CIKr0MOLzK...orcycle/custom/
  3. Moition pro would be my first phone call.
  4. Second the base charge. I bought a bike a few years back with a bad battery in the winter. It was a trickel all winter and never got the battery charge up. It warm up, went out for 500 mile day and it was fine.
  5. Why is this bike looking for its 3rd owner in a year?
  6. What in the hell are you doing to that thing? How did you go though a set of seals in less than a year?
  7. I don't know on this one, but I would call a quality suspension shop and see every can clean them up. For a little more than buying someone else's, you could have yours rebuilt for you and have a better fork.
  8. I would not say you can't use it any time, but I use it before a oil change. It helps to clean up the top end also and I figure that some of it is going to end up in the oil.
  9. What where those rim savers he was using? Nevermind. went back and watch the first one and saw it.
  10. I run a 280/35 on the rear and to speed up turning I run a 80/90 on the front!
  11. It even still has the original reflectors. Those didn't make it 20 minutes in my garage. clean!

    New tires

I'm glad you brought these up... I have been thinking about trying the new generation"road" tires that are out there, but these is what I worry about. I already wear the sides out first so what am I gaining. Example, I have been told the the new Michelin roads are the same compound as the powers on the side. If I don't wear out the center of a power, why would I want a road2?

    New tires

BT 57 Before I used Dunlop 205, but they’re not available any more. Been driving Blackbirds for 9 years, and never before had a locked front tire. Can you get 57 anymore? I thought 21's are stones currant sport tourer.

I CAN LOCK UP SUPERSPORT TIRES IN BRAKING PRACTICE SO NOT SURE YOU GOING TO GET RID OF THAT. WHAT STONES ARE THEY?
  16. I agree with you. Seams like a limiter to me. Where did the bike originate from?
  17. I bought my '99 in Nov of '05 with 800 miles on it. It had be donated to make a movie that never made it past pilot. Never had been registered. Price 5,000.
  18. If you only intend on using it for soldering wire and such get a good butane one. They heat up very fast and are cordless, not to mention high watts. If you want to work on circuit boards its not a good choice. I have 4 different irons 99% of the time if I'm working on the car/bike electrical I've got the butane one. Thanks, I've seen them but wasn't sure if they were too much. I will pick one up.
  19. My solder gun takes forever by time you get to 18 gadge. Not sure what watts it is, but is there on in particular that anyone would suggest.
  20. I'm no expert on this but the Chatterbox units works pretty well for this. Spec them pretty carefully to ensure headset and cord compatibility. Consider whether you want helmet speakers or ear plug speakers. The music input may have to be a wired connection unless you are a Bluetooth guru. You can spend a lot or a little. I have the GMRS X1 unit because it allows intercom mode and bike to bike communication. You will get lots of opinions on this, most more informed than mine, and you can spend a lot of dough. Just keep it simple. Good luck. Check it out This unit doesn't let use ear plug speakers does it? I had a cheap Chatterbox years ago and it last about 5 days until it raind....What the hell. Surely they fixed this problem...?
  21. They are great. Don't know what else tey do, but I used to get Yami parts from gary also.
  22. I ran a set of these once. Didn't like them. In cold weather, they move a lot on tar strips and I did like the lack of feed back from the front tire (a complaint I've had with many road tires). Everyones different though. Be interested in what you think of them.
