  1. Stan I'll try to call this weekend and Hobi whaaaats uuuuup? Just chillin..........
  2. 'Sup, Paully, you crazy bastard ;)

  3. I think the inside is starting to get a little cloged from roughly 150k miles and the fill neck is tweeked so that the cap doesn't seal quit right, and of coarse it's bent from being hit. Sorry for the delayed responce, I get pretty busy during the week and my email notifications got turned of some how..........
  4. Which one is good? How about the resevoir tank, aparently mine has developed a hole. Crasher.......YES! Shattered my left knee a year and half ago racing Supermoto and it's still fucked up after two surgeries.......
  5. Hey guys my radiator has never been the same since I got hit a few years back and I'm looking for a good used one including the fan. Paully
  6. Tim!! What's up! Yea only 150k, I've not had the riding time I used to, the wife and I got separated and I have the kids 98% of the time, plus I've been riding the shit out of my XR650R offroad and on now with supermoto wheels. I broke my foot trail riding and did some supermoto racing and shattered my knee.........ouch!! So there was another 10 months no riding. I need to visit the board more! Rodant, the tubes are really used, thousands of wheelies, 150k miles and 2 miles of dirt a day for 2 years, and I put some nicks in them getting them apart, the bushing wedged while trying pop the seals out. I have no problem rebuilding them but I would rather have some lower milage ones to put money into. Just the labor at the shops is as much as I've seen for a good pair of forks, not including parts. JB4XX That would be sweet if you've got a set, I am so jonesing to ride the bird!
  7. Hey guys, I need a good set of forks for the bird, I've got around 150k on mine and the outsides have lots of nicks and scratches. I live a mile from a paved road now. The bushings on the inside are soo worn out that I couldn't take the forks apart the normal way(the bushings would slide down and wedge instead of pulling the seal out), I had to run screws down into the seals and pull them out that way, which of coarse put more scratches on on the tubes.....argg. I put a set of Supermoto wheels on my XR650R and have been riding that for last 5 months but would really like to get the bird back up and running. When I didn't have the money I could find forks for sale and now that I've got the money I can't find any! Any help would be much appreciated. Paully
  8. Love Amsoil, run it for 10k and the tranny shifts great. My first motor has 73k on it before it got ran without oil and aside from the number 1 rod bearing everything else looked great. BTW I rode a gozillion wheelies.
  9. A thermal underwear and a wind breaker worn underneath your leathers is great. I was fine down into the 30's at HookersXX and my leathers are perf.
  10. +1 Could be. Or try switching to a synthetic oil. Amsoil is the best I've used, but Mobil1 is easier to find(like at Walmart in a 5 quart jug).
  11. That is a great combo. Has anyone tried the Z6 front yet?
  12. Dunno about that... ...never seen any production Buzzard numbers before I saw the guys dyno sheet. I figured that he was wasting a lot of power just stroking those coffee can pistons up and down. We ride together some and until he put a Hahn turbo on it a few weeks ago, I could outpull him pretty well.. ...the dude even weighs less than I do and my Bird could out accelerate in almost any situation with stock gears. Turbo has helped him out a bit after he gets it spooled up now... There must be something wrong with his right wrist. But seriously you must just be a better rider than him, because the Busa is a torquier faster bike.
  13. Busa's have around 100lbs of torque, not sure how that one could have almost half.
  14. My 97' posted 129hp but have never had any problem hanging with Birds that posted a lot higher. Of coarse I'm 5'6" and 135lbs. Anyways the torque is what matters, how often do you really have the throttle WFO.
  15. Makes sence. Let us now how it goes.
