  1. H2O Back when you rode, how many miles did you average in a year?
  2. On't you at least owe it to yourself to pass the break in period (if there is one I guess)

  6. Toe Cutter, nobody made it to Thunderdome.
  7. We have Cricket courtesy of Swampnut. It would probably pop right in. They are a subsidiary. I'll discuss it with the Mrs.

  12. Kind of sideways thought here.... What about an inexpensive waterproof replacement along with a VW4tube dash to mount it on? You could tack on an ammeter to boot. I took a peek on greedBay and found a couple that claimed water proof for under 15.00 .

I was thinking something along those lines. I've not heard of a push-through, good to learn about it though.
  14. My wife was admiring the aero-paint scheme. She asked me what it was worth. I told her if a guy was able to do it himself it could be onexpenive, but it would make it any less. It looks expensive. Did you buy the bike with it or do it/have it done please?

I tried hops, too much shade.
  16. I have a set as well ?what makes an item "vintage"?
  17. Yup, thanks for the clarification. I am indeed still interested. I knew I needed s o m e t h i n g. I am working 40 miles away now. I also want to use them for trips. ... more trips. Lots more trips.
  18. My brother and father-in-law also mentioned Sikkens. We sanded it this summer and didn't get a finish on it. I built the deck in 1985 with some wonder-wood mom bought on fire-sale. It's held up better than I would have guessed. There are a lot of splits in the surface. After thirty years I had to replace one board. It should hold till this summer. Thanks for the vote.
