I like my one down in front but I don't put high miles on at a time. If I did 500 miles trips, I would leave it stock. Like Joe said, can't buy steel rear with more teeth so I would stay away from it.
Yea, my bike is like that and my sons is also. That has been bugging me. No matter where or how I ride, I have a strip on the right side of the tire but not the left. My sons 03 is the same way. Why???
Well, I don't expect a tire to last because acceleration is my drug. Yea, going around a turn is fun but when I read about Dean's turbo bike, well, I can't think of anything else I would want to try more.
All the one's that I have seen that are steel (rear), are the stock number of teeth, not larger ones. If you know of 47 or larger, please give us the link.
Now,now Motorcylist magazine said that the 208 got way more mileage than the 207's and you could get over 3,000 on them. :???: If mileage was all I wanted, I would put my Goldwing tires on it.
Oh come on now, I just put on a 208 rear and man does it feel good. Quarter inch chicken strips in the first twenty miles. Avon didn't call.
PS I like to be different.
You still didn't tell us why you dropped your bike? Are you vertically challenged or something? When I seen the name Antone, I thought you ment Anton Brown the NHRA bike drag racer.
