  1. Its a vinyl trifold cover, my son might have some of the chemical guys ceramic stuff already. on my work truck I did pickup some of Jay Leno's products up to use a while back, seems to work pretty good as well at least the interior and tire shine stuff,
  2. I washed my truck for the second time since owning it last week, noticed how terrible my bed cover looked. Any recommendations for black vinyl treatment that will last the neglect of people such as myself? Cerakote stuff might work, how big is this bottle? Figure the cover is 5ft by 6.5ft roughly.
  3. Can't wear rings at work, I do love wearing a watch and my Samsung watch is setup for monitoring activity, stress, steps, breathing exercises and so on. Would like to use it more for sleep monitoring as I struggle with sleeping and being comfortable. Yet, hate wearing a watch to bed so its a small trade off. Yesterday was a total crap day for my arthritis, don't know what caused it to flare up but I was miserable from the time I woke till I finally gave in late at night with some meds. First time in a very long time I had this much discomfort.
  4. I had forgot all about those, can't remember where I even got them from or why I had them. Never used them and sold them to a members wife or girlfriend. They were huge, given that I have small girl hands have always ran pro grips or vortex on my bikes.
  5. Not a hateful A1C, better to run some tests to get a better understanding of what the next steps are to be taken. Hopefully it is easily manageable, she does have a sweet loving and supportive person close by.
  6. completely understandable, he is pretty serious about this. Hopefully he finds some help with it.
  7. Max said he talked to you while heading there. Hopefully it went well, lots of info was discussed in Austin
  8. testing purposes = do it, no fear storage or sitting for more than a day = don't do it
  9. The messed up part is it all still sits in my trailer at work. Can't get people to use it and they go and buy more. They were doing a PM4 2400 hr service on a haul truck a week ago and ran bulk tank of hydro oil out. 2 to 3 week wait, "hey, if you go to my trailer there is 20 or 30 gallons in there I picked up slated for disposal from that site shutting down. Didn't take much arm twisting to go the 50ft from the shop to get the oil VS having a haul unit down for a few weeks because of waiting for an oil delivery.
  10. It was for mechanical application, trust me It is similar to battle bots in the bedroom.
  11. We were shutting down one of our mines and asked if I could use some grease they had in the warehouse. I had to bring my 16ft trailer, 50 cases of Castrol Pyroplex grease. Each case holds 40 tubes. Pretty well stocked up for a while.
  12. Once I had a misfire on cylinder 5 in my old ford from a spark plug that had a crack. Only time it would show the problem was from under hard acceleration or under a load. $10 later with a new plug and problem solved. Similar symptoms when it was struck by lightning while driving. Fried one of the coils to a constant fire position, along with 30+ other codes. Unplugged battery to get a quick reset. Got it limped home but anything over 1/4 pedal and it would miss badly. Once home you could hear this super high pitch squeal. Buddy with his shop scan tool cleared everything and $90 later new coil. Then got an incident report written up on me the nexxt day.
  13. Does it drive as if you are in 1850's covered wagon on the trail with wooden wheels? No, then you don't have the heavy payload package. 😆
  14. Check with a local cabinet custom shop. I got a White Oak, 2inch thick corner Reloading bench. Have family that works for a custom shop, got a text asking if I wanted a free corner desk top for reloading. Customer didn't like the grain pattern. Darn thing had to be cut in two pieces to fit in my truck bed. If I didn't take it, would have been cut into 8 pieces to be tossed into the dumpster.
  15. Who pays 180 for a rear and 84 for a front sprocket? Did they use chain lube when you purchased them?
  16. We had a "job" 10 minutes from my house. I was left alone with an excavator, bulldozer and a loader. While others called it work, I referred to it as amazing and relaxing. I am typically driving a couple hours, on the phone non stop and rarely get to play with the big toys now. Just turned on some music and played as if I was 5yrs old with my Tonka toys. As for clean up, I can not lie and say that I haven't buried a thing or two in almost 25 yrs. Areas we mine are over 60 million years old and suspect it will be another 60 million before dug up again. Should see one location we are filling in, estimate 20 yrs to fill in half of it.
  17. I didn't know what was happening, thought you were getting an excavator. https://en.lbxco.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/750x4-1600x900.jpg
  18. I don't blame you on the hiring someone else and leaving it to keep cool. Love my app to start up my truck in summer or winter to have the truck cab nice and comfy for when I walk out to it.
  19. Range at 100% 98 miles what is the normal range? whatcha building?
  20. No they aren't, maybe one manufacturer did that but that is not an industry standard or even remotely an excuse of not knowing what a wear indicator bar looks like compared to a mold seam.
  21. Bravo, I was wondering when or if you would ever realize what you were pointing at were not the wear indicators of the tires.
  22. Right now the used diesel market especially for models without the need for DEF are stupid highly sought after. Buddy of mine has a F250 diesel he has been tooling around with on selling as he just doesn't drive it much with a company truck. Will see him tomorrow for a meeting and can ask what his plans are.
  23. I liked DeWalt for a long time, got grinders, drills, hammer drill, 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" impacts blah blah.. I am slowly going to Milwaukee as I replace them. For the average use DeWalt is great, my application they have quickly been outpaced by Milwaukee with their offerings.
  24. I am sure it will have an effect on how fast the water molecules escape but, so would the amount of heat cycles and other variables. Quality of silicone hoses can also affect it most likely. Similar to buying a well know brand and knock offs from Wish.com Its now a really big issue for most people who work on their own bikes and take care of them. Just as you do an oil change or whatever maintenance, take off the radiator cap and inspect the level. Add a little distilled or whatever flavored liquid you use as needed. Was something I was not aware of when looking to swap of my hoses one of my track whores. All my bikes (5) of them now are all 20 or more years old, so had me wondering of the benefits of running silicon vs rubber. Boils down to do you actually check stuff on your bike and do you like pretty Skittle colors the silicone hoses come in?
