Techron is proven with fuel injectors and combustion chambers, I assume it would also help clean carbs, but I haven't tested or read about it.

I should have suggested getting som open cell foam in place of the sponge, was if just a breather?

I like Seafoam. Were those peanuts in the picture of the inside of the airbox? Guessing your bike lives outdoors?

While I don't like the OEM media delete, I do like that you've added a lot of additional filter media. Way better filtration than a K&N, probably under 1 micron!

So the carb area is clean? You might want to look around to see if any wires are chewed also.

Yep, that might do it. I'm surprised it didn't stink to high heaven. I think all my birds have K&N's.

I bought a K&N. $30 more but it’s being delivered tomorrow morning by Amazon. The little spongy breather filter I’m gonna make myself. Going to cut the yellow part off one of these kitchen sponges and use the green Part and cut it to size.
