  1. Today
  2. Yes...they are....
  3. The phone gremlins got into your new oven and rearranged the knobs?😳 Wow, they're craftier than I thought.
  4. Love the color and look.
  5. Just got done with the repairman replacing the thermostat. Testing now. Here's the bugger. Remember how there's supposed to be an adjustment screw for the thermostat? It's on the BACK SIDE OF THE KNOB. Thing is, and the repairman didn't catch it until he was putting it back together, they built the oven with the wrong knob on the wrong post. So, there was no adjustment screw on the back side of the thermostat knob, but it was on the back of the mode selector knob. 🙄
  6. Shit, it would really just be a matter of recovering costs here. I've considered something visible like Etsy, but I have to go review the licenses on all the files and that part has left me with no fucks. Also a bunch of things will definitely make their way to NeXXt. Overnight print, the culmination of my attempts to tune PLA silk to look like machined metal. If you go fast, it turns matte or just flat. If you go slow, new problems come up like blobs or uneven lines. Now the kicker is that the printer also wants to CHANGE speeds as it goes, but too much of that means that you get a change in look from metallic to matte to flat. But you have to change speeds to manage overhangs (where the filament wants to drip, so you add more cooling and go slow). Anyway, I think I've got it now.
  7. So when are you going to open your store here? We might want to purchase some of your work.
  8. No issues on my 97 that never saw rain. 😀
  9. Yesterday
  10. And now, a koozie that you fill with freezer gel, freeze it, and it keeps cooler longer. I printed the two caps (orange rectangles first, should have printed them last so they would match the color change.
  11. A Universe from Nothing. Second time through, it's rather challenging and deep.
  12. Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind - Wikipedia
  13. Fictional Reality... I could just ring you then for an overview
  14. I might then add - Sapiens. Fascinating book.
  15. Time to dual! Purses at 20 paces! Maybe for you two, it could be syringes at 20 paces. LOL
  16. Probably not. I never did the fix on either of my 99 Birds. One had 46K miles when I sold it. Never had an FI light. It too, saw little rain and was always parked inside.
  17. It's your phone service provider. They heard what you said about them, and they have released into your truck whatever gremlins they use for making calls drop unexpectedly.🫣 You should just burn it to the ground before they spread to your BMW.
  18. Not sure what you are saying, but I was speaking for me not regurgitating something that was ever said. I think you might be reading something that is not being written.
  19. You read something that was not said, again.
  20. 3 books I am reading right now....that help me >> The Wealth of Nations On the Origin of Species Gulliver's Travels
  21. Not at all. For me... there are people who I allow in to assist me in certain decision I make for myself in this life of mine. Then there are others that are compartmentalized for other areas of my life. I am not close enough to anyone in this space to actually use their knowledge solely to make life altering decisions. Just how I roll. Best part of an individuals life is it's individual to them and they can choose their path forward that works for them. You... have the choice to see this as negative or positive for me. But, it's still me :0
  22. This was a result of an engineer's attempts to show that PLA can be a better insulator than rock wool and other common insulating materials. It outperforms the ridiculously expensive Yeti can cooler by a tiny bit, and costs around $0.90 to $1.30 depending on choice of material.
  23. Huh. Bummer.
  24. Nothing said or done on this forum will change my life. I'm super fantastic where I am But congratulations. What ML of meds helped you with this new change? Or was is simply putting down the fork and keeping your mouth shut
  25. This thread changed my life. I realized that there's a way that Moriah approaches some discussions, particularly technical, that I always chose to hear as negative. Today I decided to stop. It was a huge improvement. We can choose to make the best out of every perceived negative experience, like this, or not.
  26. The ONLY possibility...which makes no sense, is that the green stuff was antifreeze. However, I had no leaks, evidence of spray or overflow...at the time or since. Antifreeze getting on the belt would make it slick enough to slip, which would make the horrible noise when the compressor engaged because it would be enough resistance to stop the pulley from spinning. I'm driving the truck every time now. If it's fine in a couple of weeks, I'll bring it back and see if they can detect any leaks.
  27. It's the extraterrestrials I tell you.
