  1. The oil filter was also super tight, fortunately I have an end cap oil filter removal tool which I was able to bust it loose with. The nice thing about the Subaru is the filter is on top right next to the filler and the filter sits upside down.
  2. I just changed the oil on Molly's Subaru Outback, (SOB) I wish I could find the Subaru Tech who touched it last… FUCKING COCK SUCKING MOTHER FUCKER. 🤬 He must have applied the oil fill cap with a specialty tool torqued to about 60 pounds. The OIL FILL CAP!! Who does that?? . After I carefully removed it with a wrench my buddy said, “I bet the oil tech got fucked in the ass for forgetting to put the oil cap on previously.” Oddly, the Subaru cap appears to have slots for a speciality tool to be inserted for tightening…I’d never noticed that before. Next, when I tried to remove the oil drain plug with a 14mm socket and a 3/8’ ratchet wrench it wouldn’t budge. So, when I moved to a 1/2’ ratchet and it didn’t budge I began to become concerned. I pulled out the “Big Gun” the DeWalt 3/8’ cordless impact. The same tool I have pulled old, rusty bumper bolts with! Nada. Fucking reefed on. ‘’Out comes the DeWalt 1/2” cordless impact gun which I use for pulling wheel lug nuts. Well, the mother fucking oil drain plug busts loose, spins off, and I got hit with projectile oil vomit from the Subaru’s 45 degree exit drain plug. A fucking geyser which drenched my pants from the hip to the knee, and these were not my shop pants. I was pretty infuriated as I hadn’t bothered to put on my mechanics coveralls as it was a one bolt job. I decided to,change the oil on the SOB shortly after putting adjustable lower control arms on my buddy’s Jeep TJ. (The one we swapped Rubicon running gear into.) So, the point of this whole story…? I looked up the torque spec for a Subaru Outback oil drain plug and torqued that bitch to a perfect 25 foot pounds. 😀
  3. +1 as in send it out for calibration. The Prime Air team that was building drones had theirs sent out every Friday for calibration....FAA and all....maybe Boeing should have been as methodical.
  4. LOL, I giggle a little every time I hear that stupid cunty term for "vinyl". 😂 Rubbing alcohol?
  5. ‘Once you get it dialed you can bring it a few hours West to Central Washington.😀
  6. I like Seafoam. Were those peanuts in the picture of the inside of the airbox? Guessing your bike lives outdoors?
  7. holy crap! So the tunnel doors double as seats! That is crazy cool. I would not have thought their tailgate could support 1K pounds. 😲
  8. I recall seeing Sean, ApolloXX - K9XX haul his blackbird in the rear of a Honda Ridgline caddywampus (like the dirt bike above). I was worried the rear tire of your Zero might be too much weight for the tailgate on the Rivian?
  9. Motorcycle trailer. At least for the Zero.
  10. Does a carb bird have an FPR? I don’t recall my carb bikes having one, just my FI birds. I immediately thought FPR when he mentioned hydro locked. Been there with a VFR and had a bird with a case full of super unleaded.
  11. San Antonio, Texas I think he hasn't updated his profile from San Clemente....ad narrative says he's in Texas.
  12. I went to a large stamp show year before last. Maybe it was the wrong one. LOL. An old guy asked me, "Do you have any friends who collect stamps?" When he replied he explained stamp collectors were dying out. We sold two boxes for $500, but ironically they didn't really want the stamps, but the post cards they were affixed to. I think collectors are like porn hounds, they each have a weird, different kind of kink. I need to find the right show or the right collector and make them take everything. My dad had cigar boxes full of Zeppelin airship Stamps, not sure where those ended up, but I saw some of them listed from $800 to $1500 each.
  13. I have 17 boxes of stamps my dad collected…ready to burn them or toss them in the landfill, but they have value which is annoying as it is a limiting factor in getting rid of them. Wish he had collected coins or guns….stamps of the world.
  14. ‘Might need to slip some flexible metal conduit over those during the fix. Darn motivated rat.
  15. +1 I love watches and am brutally cruel to them, forgetting to take them off when changing oil, etc. my EDC is a 33 year old Seiko Automatic. My Tag and nicer watches rest in drawers so they aren’t scratched and come out for special occasions, then I forget to put them on and old trusty Seiko gets to go to the gala. As Oscar said not driving the nice car or wearing the fancy watch to “save it for the next guy…is like having a beautiful female partner and …..” 😂 Gorgeous watch Dave, good luck with the sale.
  16. I have about 10 of them, all different makes and models....from $9.95 to over a $135....I "think" the el cheapo one may have cooked my DRZ battery a few years ago as I don't think it knows how to "float". Your old one is probably just fine. This is my favorite model as shows voltage and percentage of charge.
  17. ‘First, I’ve never seen “book” buy a car, it’s a guide for a reason. Shame you didn’t take her up on the offer at $6K, no brainer. Wrecking yard trans for $500 would have been ideal. Way less sexy at $7K based on your description. Last week I helped a friend pick up some TJ Rubicon parts. Front and rear D44 axles with factory lockers, $4100 and the 241 Rubicon case 4:1 low gear ration cost him $2100. Guy imports rust buckets from Michigan and parts them in Seattle. He had an auto tranny for $500 and a complete motor for $600. We picked out a digital rear view mirror with temp and compass for $40. I pullee an aftermarket front bumper for $20.
  18. It must be super clapped? I don’t think I’ve ever seen an LJ under $10K up here.
  19. ‘Well that was a no brainer! Congrats.
  20. Okay that Zuma looks fun. We will need a ride report. What did it cost out the door with the discount?
  21. This clean little bike would already be in my garage if I was close. Be a great companion to the Ruckus and Trail 110 (CT110) which everyone loves to ride more than the larger bikes.
  22. ‘It’s what the market demand as there is no supply. https://kpr.craigslist.org/mcy/d/richland-2023-honda-ct125-trail/7722952792.html. $5995 used https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds/mcd/d/langley-2024-honda-trail-125/7723622668.html $6152 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van/mcd/d/chilliwack-2024-honda-ct125ar/7722818349.html $6600 Canadian
