  1. holy crap! So the tunnel doors double as seats! That is crazy cool. I would not have thought their tailgate could support 1K pounds. šŸ˜²
  2. I recall seeing Sean, ApolloXX - K9XX haul his blackbird in the rear of a Honda Ridgline caddywampus (like the dirt bike above). I was worried the rear tire of your Zero might be too much weight for the tailgate on the Rivian?
  3. Does a carb bird have an FPR? I donā€™t recall my carb bikes having one, just my FI birds. I immediately thought FPR when he mentioned hydro locked. Been there with a VFR and had a bird with a case full of super unleaded.
  4. San Antonio, Texas I think he hasn't updated his profile from San Clemente....ad narrative says he's in Texas.
  5. I went to a large stamp show year before last. Maybe it was the wrong one. LOL. An old guy asked me, "Do you have any friends who collect stamps?" When he replied he explained stamp collectors were dying out. We sold two boxes for $500, but ironically they didn't really want the stamps, but the post cards they were affixed to. I think collectors are like porn hounds, they each have a weird, different kind of kink. I need to find the right show or the right collector and make them take everything. My dad had cigar boxes full of Zeppelin airship Stamps, not sure where those ended up, but I saw some of them listed from $800 to $1500 each.
  6. I have 17 boxes of stamps my dad collectedā€¦ready to burn them or toss them in the landfill, but they have value which is annoying as it is a limiting factor in getting rid of them. Wish he had collected coins or gunsā€¦.stamps of the world.
  7. ā€˜Might need to slip some flexible metal conduit over those during the fix. Darn motivated rat.
  8. +1 I love watches and am brutally cruel to them, forgetting to take them off when changing oil, etc. my EDC is a 33 year old Seiko Automatic. My Tag and nicer watches rest in drawers so they arenā€™t scratched and come out for special occasions, then I forget to put them on and old trusty Seiko gets to go to the gala. As Oscar said not driving the nice car or wearing the fancy watch to ā€œsave it for the next guyā€¦is like having a beautiful female partner and ā€¦..ā€ šŸ˜‚ Gorgeous watch Dave, good luck with the sale.
  9. I have about 10 of them, all different makes and models....from $9.95 to over a $135....I "think" the el cheapo one may have cooked my DRZ battery a few years ago as I don't think it knows how to "float". Your old one is probably just fine. This is my favorite model as shows voltage and percentage of charge.
  10. ā€˜First, Iā€™ve never seen ā€œbookā€ buy a car, itā€™s a guide for a reason. Shame you didnā€™t take her up on the offer at $6K, no brainer. Wrecking yard trans for $500 would have been ideal. Way less sexy at $7K based on your description. Last week I helped a friend pick up some TJ Rubicon parts. Front and rear D44 axles with factory lockers, $4100 and the 241 Rubicon case 4:1 low gear ration cost him $2100. Guy imports rust buckets from Michigan and parts them in Seattle. He had an auto tranny for $500 and a complete motor for $600. We picked out a digital rear view mirror with temp and compass for $40. I pullee an aftermarket front bumper for $20.
  11. It must be super clapped? I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen an LJ under $10K up here.
  12. ā€˜Well that was a no brainer! Congrats.
  13. Okay that Zuma looks fun. We will need a ride report. What did it cost out the door with the discount?
  14. This clean little bike would already be in my garage if I was close. Be a great companion to the Ruckus and Trail 110 (CT110) which everyone loves to ride more than the larger bikes.
  15. ā€˜Itā€™s what the market demand as there is no supply. https://kpr.craigslist.org/mcy/d/richland-2023-honda-ct125-trail/7722952792.html. $5995 used https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds/mcd/d/langley-2024-honda-trail-125/7723622668.html $6152 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van/mcd/d/chilliwack-2024-honda-ct125ar/7722818349.html $6600 Canadian
  16. Same, been looking for one for a Couple years, and I ainā€™t paying $6300 for one!
  17. I loved my white XX, (Joeā€™s was the inspiration). Hard to see but in the sun the blue pearl metal flake from crushed glass was exquisite.
  18. Guessing Wisconsin includes Snowmobiles, SxS's, and Quads as motorcycles?
  19. The brides in both my marriages would wag a finger at that set up. I like it though, warm and cozy.
  20. +1 on Never Dull. It is tedious but years ago I brought back a Honda Trail 110 or CT110 with tons of rust scales on it. Get a fresh new can, and try using the bottom of a rounded Craftsman handled or similar screwdriver while pushing down on the wadding against the wheel lip. Worked like a charm. Then again I had two prepubescent boys to do the work while I drank beer and barked out orders like, ā€œpress harderā€. My oldest son still has that bike. He pulled the motor, split the case and resealed the whole god damn thingā€¦I created a monster.
  21. I just scored a two knife Milwaukee combo set at the local shop for $19, one has a screwdriver on it. https://www.waynedalehardware.com/shop/hand-tools/knives/utility-knives-and-box-cutters/utility-knife/324863-milwaukee-fastback-folding-6-in-1-utility-knife?SKU=395560&gsf=t I also have a Kobalt folder I like as it has a slot onboard for extra blades, but Molly stole that one. Not seeing it on quick search but it is a folder as well. My buddy went hunting in Africa and game them out as gifts to all the guideā€™s helpers. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-18mm-11-Blade-Folding-Utility-Knife/1001592028
  22. ā€˜Couple years back I added a Husky 1/2ā€ air impact to the box, it claimed 600 ft pounds. It is way more impressive than my other older, air impacts. I need to do some tests, but my cordless 1/2ā€ DeWalt impact gets down and does work. Used to be my corded 1/2ā€ Milwaukee was the tool when the older air powered impacts couldnā€™t get it doneā€¦not so sure anymore. I love tools and have 6 or so impacts of various corded, cordless, and air power. ā€˜ā€™When I built the shop I ran 3/4ā€ pex in the wall to my 8- gallon air compressor. No complaints.
