  1. Complete, another Bull Shit from Seamp. Dynos read in standard conditions by default. 2000 feet of elevation would call for 6% correction factor. Let's say it was 95 degrees instead of standard 77. That's another 3% correction. All together around 10%, or around extra 14 HP. Are you claiming your bike would make 156 rear wheel hp at see level at 77 f degrees? Stock? Lol.
  2. Well, I've found this. Webster definition of cheaply made chinasum hardware. They put POS like that on 20 grand bike. Lol. Congratulations. It is easy to see why that has happened. Once pressure is applied that "caliper" flexes like banana, and locks pins in place. They can't slide, hence one sided wear. Here we go. Caliper in question.
  3. Genes, really? How come there were hardly any obese people not that many decades ago but there are shitloads now? Have genes changed that quickly? Me thinks it is not the case. Some just outright refuse to exercise brutal truth they - -Eat way too much and/or eat wrong foods. -The do not burn enough calories. Due to industrialization there are hardly any jobs requiring physical work left so the only way to burn excess calories is via exercise. If you daily food intake is 3000 calories, but your body naturally burns only 2500 per day you'll sooner of later gain weight. Two options for you to not gain weight: You reduce daily calories intake. You don't change eating habits but start to exercise to burn excess calories.
  4. We all saw your cooking full of potatos, rice, beans, etc. Technically not horrible ingredients but high on carbs. High on carbs, and someone who thinks they can eat all of that and not exercise without weight gain penalty. You hate me anyway, it is not like the fact I'm pointing out inconvenient truth to you is gonna ruin our relationship. You need reality check, dude.
  5. One don't have to eat junk food to be overweight. Sure, metabolism plays the role, some can eat like a horse and stay thin, but it is basically calories in, and calories burned one way or another. Junk food or not. Healthy foods could be high on calories as well. Things like potatoes, rice, bakery products, cakes, cookies, bread, anything pretty much with flour, some beans, and couple other foods high on carbs are absolutely no go if person has tendency to gain weight. And some think if they just avoid junk foods they eating habits are healthy. Or if they avoid animal fats they won't get layer of fat on their body. Fats are integral part of healthy diet. Oh, alkohol. Empty calories and it stimulates appetite, double whammy. Avoid it, and reduce it to bare minimum. Forget daily drink or two. Back when I was in high school there was one really fat kid in entire school. About 240 kids. So, 0.4% of kids were fat. He had some sort of medical condition, his and mine parents were friends, that's how I know. Now, by my friends estimate who is a teacher in the very same high school, around 25% of students are fat. What has changed? Eating habits and how kids spend their free out of school time. We were outside playing after school till we almost dropped dead from exhaustion, then we went home. One don't get much exercise by operating touch screen, etc. I understand some people are prone to weight gain, but that applies only to small percentage of population. The rest should take an honest look in the mirror, and examine their lifestyle and eating habits.
  6. DIY is not about money, it is about convenience, and more specifically, time. Round trip to tire changing place, mandatory wait, etc. It could be easily 1.5 -2.0 hrs. Not interested, even if they did it for free. Also, any tire changing place open and waiting for you at, let's say 10 pm? Because mine DIY is open 24/7
  7. The tire spoon uses leverage as well. Anyway, I thought they were more expensive, like 700-800 bucks. In this case I stand corrected.
  8. Well, HP=F x V. F is rolling resistance plus aero drag. V velocity. But, yes, at high speed lion's share is aero drag. And, if you were tucked in, and then roll off and sit straight up aero brake can be higher than engines peak HP. That's why you never ever get directly behind someone when braking from high speeds on the race track. Even if your name is Marquez the guy in the front of will put brake you, and boom.
  9. No. Unless 45 seconds is considered "long". With some experience you can kinda guess how much weight it needs by how fast wheel rotates. Typically it takes less than 2 ounces to balance mcycle wheel, so if you are low on experience start with 1 once, and go from there. And, you won't be able to feel it if weight is off by .25 oz, so don't loose your sleep over it. Many times tires are not round enough, there is dick you can do about it. Balanced or not, vibration will be there.
  10. No Mar is waaaaaaay overpriced. Many victims of clever marketing. No idea why people buy them. In the end of the day it is muscle powered machine. You still gonna sweat like a pig on 90 degrees day. I'd never spent that kind of money on muscle powered tire machine.YMMV. So, I'd suggest low end or high end approach. Low end would be get Harbor Freight balancer for 50 bucks, it is good enough for motorcycle tire, and some sort of bead breaker. Can't find the link to one I have. It was, of course, cheap. Plus couple tire irons and rim protectors. High end would be compressed air powered tire changer. More expensive vs. No Mar but not by much. And you won't sweat like a pig. And get the most overpriced wheel balancer you can find.
  11. Timeless picture. You are just like me, whatever works or, in this case, pair of boots.
  12. I drove that Volvo XC90 couple of times, it makes proper supercharger and turbo noises at WOT, power is good, there is small hybrid thing that kicks in during acceleration, but at light loads it does have that cheap 4 cylinder harshness. I'm a purists, it bothered me. On 90 k car totally unacceptable.
  13. My ex's topotheline everything 2023 Volvo V90 went caput at the gas station. She fueled up, and the thing stopped to respond to anything. As it turned out later car decided to upgrade parts of software on its own, and then there was a glitch. Lol. Or that's what dealership told her later. Anyway, it was late evening, she called Volvo 800 number and after going back and forth for an HR or so they sent a tow truck and dragged it over to the dealer. It took dealership 10 days to get that 90k $ POS going again.
  14. Could be potential live saver. Opening and closing doors is very strenuous activity. So many things could go wrong.
  15. Well, she was born like that. It is different. My good friend doctor, got good number of patients with prediabetic conditions cured by telling them to eliminate rice, potatoes, bread, anything with flour, cookies, etc, anything with high carb and sugar content. And getting their asses of the couches. That's what I would try first instead for being guinea pig for some company in China. That's all.
  16. From China? You are brave man. I pray everything will be fine. On the other hand even moderate exercise and portion control works just as well. But, hey, it is your body, not mine.
  17. Every race bike has it. Of course, those guys are idiots, they should have consulted Swamp before installing one. I'm an idiot as well, because my R1 has it. If I had to explain it to him he would not understand anyway. MotoGP M1, Quartararo.
  18. The issue is/was is weight distribution of 90 deg V2 engine, or not enough weight on front well. The powerplant is long vs. let's say, inline engines. Even with shorter V4 it is issue to some degree. Ducati MotoGp team solved it by aerodynamics and ride height devices. Before, they were loosing front end on alarming bases, and needed full alien Stoner to win championship. One of most gifted riders ever. And even he lost front end zillions of times. Anyway, Honda did everything possible to move engine forward, and be able to use cheap off shelf radiators. HRC kit radiator is mounted in n the front, but it is not what you normally see, and, probably way more expensive to manufacture. Having said that Ducati V2s have always had conventional set up. HRC kit radiators.
  19. I could put up with everything except for no AC.
  20. Especially in the middle of the desert.
  21. What if phone goes dead? BTW, phone takes more room and is heavier than any car key. All that unnecessary weight puts tremendous strain on your body and, undoubtedly, will reduce your life span.
