Greig
Hi, I just purchased an '03 Bird. I would take the sprockets, carbon tank protector, and fairing bolts and windshield if they are available. Greig
E.Ness
for those of you who don't know the RR is an upgrade to the old Regulator Rectifier on the bird which has a tendency to burn out. I purchased the special wiring from a board member so it is essentially now plug and play. E

Greig
I posted just after rockmeupto125 and could sure use the bolts, mirror housing, sprocket set, windshield and tank protector for an'03 blackbird I just purchased. It is missing the lower fairings and had a tip over in the po's driveway. Would you pass on these parts rockmeupto125 and let me get them? OrganDonor
Damn... missed the windscreen. If anyone has a stock or other cheapo windscreen sitting around, I need one. I'm going to pull off my MRA VarioTouring screen to sell it.

Nova Scotia Mike
The rear wheel on my 2000 has a nice bend in the lip (like PO hit a big pothole or something). It's not given me any grief during the life of the two rear tires I've put on the bike since I've owned it, but I've never liked having the bend ... Can anyone verify that all XX rear wheels the same? (dumb question alert) My wheelset is also gray in color (i have blue plastics) ... I'm assuming I can have XX wheels powder coated or painted easily to be a matching color, no?
rockmeupto125
The XX uses the same part number rear wheel for all years. Unable to comment on how easy it is to powder coat or paint.

I'm assuming I can have XX wheels powder coated or painted easily to be a matching color, no? I have had a couple of sets of wheels powdercoated. Seem to think they were about $150.00 a wheel. Butt that is here in Long Island NY. probably cheaper anywhere else.

I'm going to pull off my MRA VarioTouring screen to sell it. Ben, I have at least 2 spare windscreens. Let me dig them out today and determine their suitability for gracing a bike owned by you. Already had mine straightened once a few years ago at that place in CO, then another bend more recently, ouch Let me know if it becomes available. My sprocket is ok, could use the rotor though too.
