lensmanxx
I just noticed that to access the rear brake reservoir, you have to remove the seat cowl. What a pain. Has anyone tried to relocate it inside the frame so it's accessible by just removing the seat? Fortunately you don't have to mess with it often, but still, it'll add to the time needed to flush my brake system.
blackhawkxx
I would guess that you don't "flush the system" more than once a year, right? Removing the rear piece only takes a couple of minutes but moving the reservoir would take a lot more time than that. If you use T wrenches for the cowl bolts, it goes really fast. cbrxxquad
I did, but it would not work for you. It is a pain, but over quick. two mins tops.
Zero Knievel
If you think that's bad, imagine buying a Pro-Oiler where that's where they suggest mounting the oil bottle. I'm not pulling off the luggage system and cowl just to top off the oil bottle. Fortunately, I found a better way to do it.

A cordless drill with a 1/4" socket driver is even faster.

testrider
Next time I'll probably try to find a way to relocate it too. It's just a single brake hose. I have the full Givi rack and it's a pain to have to remove everything before I could remove the cowl. Reinstalling the rack took even longer (to line up everything).
