xxxbirdxxx Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 http://www.streetracerparts.com/motorcycle...dev_reverse.htm They have lowered the buy ins to 10 Quote
Hookman49 Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 I agree!! d: Hookers. D is always hookers!! Ken Quote
urloozn Posted April 2, 2003 Posted April 2, 2003 C'mon ya bunch of wussies! I bought in, you should too! Not everyone can have the rubber chicken keychains to mark them as carriers of 'The Precious' but we all can have custom reverse indiglo gauges as a badge of membership! Dam...........I should go into politics! Quote
xxxbirdxxx Posted April 2, 2003 Author Posted April 2, 2003 LOL, Yes you should. Might be your game? But on the other note, I bought in and 1 other guy did, so all we need are 7 more people to buy in and we can get them by summer? Quote
CBRXX Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 I really prefer white guages. They look so much better and are MUCH easier to read. That said, since I have the digital dash, changing just the tach isn't all that important to me... at least not worth the bother of disassembling the guages. Anyway, count me out. If I had the analog guages, I would do it. Having just the tach, I would rather get this rev light for $100 http://www.actionstation.com/detail.asp?Pr...H_MANUFACTURER= Steve Quote
CBRXX Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 I think it was mentioned in another thread the guage decal kit has the pieces for ALL 4 of the guages on the analog dash, and of course only the tach on the digital dash. Steve. Quote
TOXXIC Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Nice garage door opener installation! Is it held in place by Velcro?? Quote
Big Jeff Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Ok, I bought in too. It doesn't seem to be showing it though. Dressing up the dash will be very cool. Big Jeff Quote
Travlnman Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Big Jeff, I think it takes a few days for SRP to update the web-site, when I bought in on the 01-03 reverse indiglow it didn't show for several days. It does seem that there are more people saying they signed up for these face plates than it's showing......I hope he's keeping things organized over there. Quote
tvking Posted April 11, 2003 Posted April 11, 2003 Tim, The remote is held on w/ double stick tape. Been there a couple years....so far so good. Is's great to ride up the drive, pop open the door and ride in. The gauges are DeltaGFX overlays. First ones in the states. Sent my speedo to Norway- Sweeden (?) so they could make a MPH version. blackhawkxx Posted April 11, 2003 Posted April 11, 2003 CBRXX- I got that shift light and could not get it to program right with my 97. I sent it back and got a Dyna. Sooooo much better :!: Quote
Hookman49 Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 I looked in my service manual and it is a pain in the ass to screw around the the gauges but doable. What about the needles? How do you remove them to put the gauges down? Ken Quote
tvking Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 Quote from their home page: The Indiglow Gauges are designed to lay right over your current stock gauges, and slide right over the gauge needles. General Installation Instructions are included. Mine required slicing the the dials or removing the needles. I remove the needles. I would NOT recommend this to anyone w/o major mechanical experiance. Quote
xxxbirdxxx Posted July 20, 2003 Author Posted July 20, 2003 OK, I guess they are being sent out now that they have made 50 of them, LOL Good luck to all that bought in. They will look nice on your XX. Quote
