trailfly Posted September 22, 2005 Share Posted September 22, 2005 Once in a great while my 99 PGMI Bird decides it doesn't want to start (usually like when you ride to a store close by). What I have noticed is if you get the bike rolling just enough to disengage the clutch and maybe get a revolution of the crank, then stop, pull in the clutch and pow it starts. Any ideas? lexxus Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 sounds kinda like car starter problem with a bad tooth on it, and you roll a little bit put in back in park which moves the flywheel from the area just out of reach of the tooth too within reach to engage it, it's worth a look and not hard to get too.
