I have looked at the local autoparts store and could never find this filter, I have read it is the best though. Where did you buy it? Do you have a part number?

My concern with this is acetone eats rubber parts. So how long can you do this before fucking up some parts in the fuel system?

To all of you who have the Corbin seat with the Carbon fiber pattern leather, what do you do to clean\maintain it? Mine looks like it is getting dry and dirty, but this seems like a seude type of leather, so I am unsure what to do to keep it in good condition.

Very nice writeup. Question 1, does it turn off when you hit either the front or rear brake like in a car? Question 2, if you had these instructions how many hours install time would you estimate? It must be less than eight hours, I'm sure a lot of that time was figuring out how to get it to fit and work, you have done that for us. Thanks for you efforts and excellent doccumentation..

I think you can run OK without remapping, but you will run much smoother with a power commander and a custom map for your bike + a small HP gain.

I just pulled the old one out and inserted the new one with the stopper in it, I did not hink it matters when removing the old unit.

That is a nice looking restoration job! Do you ever take it out for a ride? Or is it stricly a show peice?
