SR71XXPilot
Hey everyone. I just bought a Vista cruise from my dealer. If anyone else has it installed would you write me back with some install ideas. The one I bought does not seem to work, or fit that is. There is not enough gap between the brake clamp and the switch housing on the clip on. Do you have to modify the Vista clamp? Please help. SR71
John01XX
If you go to the BIRD site at www.superblackbird.co.uk I think you will find pictures and drawings on the Vista install. It is the throttle lock of choice in Europe.
Furbird
Which one do you have, the dual throttle cable style (plastic, one piece) or the universal one (metal, 3 piece)?
John01XX
You need to have the Plastic one-Piece for the Bird. 7/8" of course

K-TOOL
I love mine. Once adjusted properly it works great. I used a small screw to secure it to the bottom of the switch box.
John01XX
I don't have any in stock, but can get them in pretty fast, (3 days) I buy at 18 and sell them at $22.00 + shipping. Shipping in the US is only like $1.75 usps Cheap fix for Cruise control. About a hundred less than throttlemiester.

BIG BOY
I thought the Vista didn't work properly for some reason. I thought the one of that style should be the NEP????
Iceman_40
I installed a vista cruse a week ago. I just did cut off the ring at the end of the throttle, and epoxyed the vista cruse mount onto the swtich box. Works great and I didn't have to drill any holes. Also had to move the grip slightly back from the switch box to make the vista cruse fit in.
SwampNut
I ship out a lot of the NEP locks. In my opinion, they're better, and look better.
