OMG
I had that problem on an old BMW - the return bleed hole in the master was corroded shut. Reminder to self - change the brake fluid in everything before winter. Edited September 17, 2023 by OMG

OMG
Have a look, When is the last time you flushed the fluid? It does have a master. The rear is connected to the front as well.

XXitanium
I had my brake fluid replaced before the ride out-west. ...22 year old bike that I've owned it a dozen years.

On my CBX, when the calipers start sticking and not retracting, the pads rub and cause heat. Material expansion causes the brakes to apply themselves. Mine recently started sticking, but only after using it. It's possible that it could apply without using it if enough heat builds to start creating pressure in the system. silverbird1100
Sounds like a SMC issue. If it gets bad enough the rear wheel can lock. It’s a LBS thing, went through it with my ST1300, wouldn’t recommend riding it until you get it sorted
