This lists three different part numbers for them. Dunno what part numbers go with what years though.

Note that the eMap is discontinued, and it's not waterproof. (Though, if it gets rained on, and you dry it out good, it'll be fine.)
Having said that, I have one on my dirt bike and like it. I have a StreetPilot III for the car/truck/street bike.
I may be wrong, but if the battery is completely dead, there won't be power to "prime" the FI (the noise you hear when you turn on the key), so it wouldn't bump start anyway. Right?
I use WD40 and Honda Spray Cleaner And Wax. I clean the bike often (like after every ride) so if you have a large build-up, I'm not sure what the best method would be.
I got 10k out of the BT010's on my 929. I just put a new set of BT020's on the XX. I'm hoping to get at least that out of these. Were those the ones you were talking about?
Yeah, I think some Magellan ones aren't. Seems like someone said one of the Garmin models wasn't but I'm not sure.
All three Garmin's I've had, have been 12v.
Sounds like maybe you didn't use it right.
I've use the steering stem Pit-Bull and the fork-lift Pit-Bull on my XX and had full access to the axle with both. :?:
