  1. I'm out. "Ridiculously comfortable as long as you aren’t in the NBA." https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-honda-pc800-pacific-coast/ $3,500 - this last summer.
  2. "4. I found the bike prone to some headshake at about 160 km/hr [100 mph]. I made two spacers 32mm in diameter and 19mm thick and placed them on top of the fork springs to increase the fork rake. Combined with new fork oil (10wBelRay) the front end was completely stable at all speeds and the smooth ride was even better." http://www.motorcyclesurvey.com/reviews/honda/pc800_pacific_coast/ ...any of you guys know what an MB-5 is?
  3. "A yuppie wanna-be stockbroker friend, who’s wife wouldn’t invite us to a cotillion of aging, preppy, former sorority-girls if we showed up on bikes, absolutely loved the Pacific Coast. They both did. “This is the nicest bike you’ve ever had,” said Wifey. “But you still can’t come to the cotillion.” https://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/honda/church-of-mo-honda-pacific-coast-800-first-impression.html
  4. I'm run a, Pixel 6A. running Chrome 14. I am not experiencing the problems that you guys are. I couldn't view the video, but I'm thinking it was something with the upload, not the browser.
  5. The search function won't let me find the motorcycle parts shipped and packed in ghey pron mags. 8O
  6. What causes that electrically? I'm old enough to have had a bunch of cars with points back in the day. I don't understand the process that would make that happen at higher rpm. Weak spring, abraded wire/increased resistance? Google... GM... https://www.ffcars.com/threads/cutting-out-at-higher-rpms-solved.3548/ A set of points is a cheap resolution though. Did you use a matchbook cover to set the gap?
  7. I read "Board Tech Issues & Help"... (There's not going to be a quiz. Some don't discern, but I categorize it as a sub-forum?)
  8. Currently less than a dollar a cc... There's one locally for sale on Facebook marketplace also. PC800 linky
  9. Well it rain all day. I had to go out and shut off the light in the garage. There is one small puddle in the middle of the floor about the size of a dollar bill. Not bad.
  10. ...so, they got half the garage roof torn off yesterday... So far, so good. I refuse to go look in the garage.
  11. @blackhawkxx Worse than that? He needs to raise hid prices to follow Bidenomics.
  12. When the adjuster came he went up on the roof and circled spots where there was dimples from hell. They were roughly four to five feet apart or less across the whole thing
  13. The estimate came in at about 25,000 for 44 square. There were a couple extra things added on heat tape to avoid icing and some miscellaneous trim.
  14. Our house is a solar envelope type construction. The front has a 12 ft wide sunroom that's for solar absorption. My wife had them put ice dam media up past 12 ft to avoid ice dams in the spring. I'm thinking that's probably going to be a bitch to try to take back off put on the new stuff.
  15. We had the roof shingled in 2019. Finally. Now a couple months ago we had hail damage and her contractor and the insurance company both recommended a complete re-roof. I had talked to Tim back then and we got a 35 years shingle but it wasn't hail rated. We're spending a couple extra thousand this time and getting hail resistant. That cost will be on top of the insurance check. They're starting to tear off on one side of the house today.
  16. My parents had a 1974 Ford LTD. That car reminds me of that a lot.
