  1. Did you get really bad gas to plug up the injectors?
  2. Hose length would be very hard to measure on the bike. It is hard to believe that they are forgetting about us already.

  5. Well you won't have any trouble finding parts for that bike. I'll be interested to see if you can get the same consistency. The quicker you go, the harder it is to keep it.

  8. Well, you know when you push the start button, the headlight goes out. Checking out the button would be the first thing that I would do along with the starting circuit. I'm sure others will be along that has been through a similar thing before. I hope that you have a shop manual.
  9. Just to be clear, you can drift start it and it runs fine but the starter will not crank over? Does the taillight and dash lights work?

  12. Why would you pull anything to change the oil in the Bird? You put in on the center stand, reach up under to remove oil filter. If it is too tight, use strap wrench to loosen.
  13. I have used the bolt trick to set a car intake manifold on perfect. It does work well.
  14. I posted about this before but can't find it. The filter is only on carbed Birds as far as I know but mine turned to dust and wanted people to know to check them.   15. That is one of the all time greats of how-to. A classic on here. Read that years ago but is very helpful to remind us that don't do it that often.

  19. One or twice this past year, I bottomed the front which didn't happen in the past. Maybe I just found more dips and bumps but... I have stock weight Honda oil in it that doesn't have that many miles on it. Since I weigh about 175 lbs. without gear, from what I hear, the stock springs should work. I was thinking that it would be a cheap, not too hard of thing to try as long as it didn't make the full travel way firmer.
  20. Will adding more oil to the fork (increasing oil level) affect the full travel or just when it is at full compression? If I were to experiment with adding, how much should I try at a time?
  21. What brand of clutch cover is on your motor?
  22. That is a real truck. Maybe not a daily driver into the big city but would be great out in the sticks. In reality, something that old should be preserved not worn out and trashed.
