  1. Thanks. You should put this on your Christmas list.
  2. Good job. It was a good idea you had to get a new antenna.
  3. Isn't that what was said two pages ago? 😀 So what did you end up putting in it?
  4. All this info is for YOU right? Would it be the same results for everyone? I have noticed through life that people seem to vary how their body responds to different things.
  5. Here is a pic of my RS-3. They are early ones that are made of aluminum. I think they went to stainless later.
  6. I wonder about the difference between mounting indoors as apposed to outdoor as far as signal strength?

I didn't ask in a negative way but I would be temped to write them a note calling out their BS about not changing the batteries yourself.

You sending a little note to Flume or just letting the world know?
  9. My Explorer also uses 75w140 in the rear but 75w-90 in the front. Zero either look in the manual that came with the truck or call or stop in any Ford dealer and ask for parts dept. and ask them. They will tell you the correct answer and the amount you will need.
  10. More information is always good. Some times things just work. Thanks for sharing your find.
  11. I don't see RightStuff a lot on the shelves in my area but PERMATEX® ULTRA BLACK® RTV SILICONE GASKET MAKER is which I use all the time just in case he can't find your stuff.
  12. Like Super said earlier, put both tires in the air, spin forward. Do both tires spin forward or does one spin backwards?
  13. Not me, it works as it should.
  14. This is kind of tripping me up. Pickup: Free local pickup from Boise, Idaho, United States. See detailsfor pickup Shipping: See item description for shipping details Located in: Boise, Idaho, United States We do not own this vehicle, vehicle is not located in boise.
  15. I just replaced the power steering fluid in one of my vehicles a couple of months ago. Most but not all automatic transmissions haven't had a drain plug on them through the years and yet many manufacturers stated that the fluid needed changed. Double sigh.
  16. Do you really believe that gears meshing together for 25 years, 216,000 miles wouldn't benefit from a fluid change? Why even ask about it if you wasn't going to do it to begin with?
  17. I sure hope it isn't rusty underneath because $21 K for a 6 cylinder car seems a little steep to me but I guess every day finds like this are getting rarer.
  18. You would get more looks at stuff like this in the garage section but yes, I would replace the fluid. It really isn't very hard to do. Just remove the rear end cover, clean the gasket area, either put new gasket on or use gasket maker and replace cover. Put a piece of 3/8" rubber hose on the bottle of the lube and fill until it starts to run out of the hole. Your owners manual should tell you what lube to use.
  19. Do you know how the tool works? Thanks for the tip.
  20. Any roofing guy who wanted to pick up a few bucks on a weekend could handle the swap with ease.
  21. I would call the dealer and speak to the service manager. Ask if this is a common thing and is there something you could do or possibly talk to a mechanic. They might just say to bring it in or maybe give you helpful info.
