    New home needs

Odd, why am I showing up as "guest"?

    My project

No kid'n, you luck bastard. Can't wait to see pics and hear your thoughts.
  3. What did you use to make the cuts? Jig saw, dremel, or razor knife? :???:
  4. Jerry, Obviously, the pipes aren't here yet, but did you have to drill holes in the subframe? Or were the holes already in the subframe?

    Dunlop 207RR

Sounds like they aren't recommended for the street?
  6. Randy's decals went where those damned front reflectors of his need to go, in the GARBAGE!
  7. Hell yes, I wish I was smoke'n a Coyote with you! Randy are those PM wheels? $750 OTD installed? Where might I ask?
  8. Seems like this thread has come around, full circle. I'm all about discounts, and cool new stuff for the 'bird. For me, it's either new Mig pipes or new wheels. (Wish I was like Randy and had both!)

    Dunlop 207RR

OK. Thanks guys! I think I'll stick with my current wheels, even though they lack 25% more thrust!

    Dunlop 207RR

Any thoughts on whether a Dunlop 207RR would be a decent street tire for the 'bird? Cycle Gear has deal a set of them for $159.00
  11. Great looking garage Mike. I really like the center piece on the middle of the roof line.
  12. Interesting thread. However, what was funnier than shit was Redbird saying, "You're high" I'm CERTAIN he mean on a mind altering substance such as crack, meth, PCP, or LSD. Gonna look into the shifter though. Sounds cool.
  13. Gorgeous. I have to make sure my wife never sees it!

  15. Hey Alan, if Sanch doesn't want the higher factory screen I'll take it!!
  16. Another angle........ I need a new camera...........
  17. I did the same flush job with the short stalks, you can hardly see them!
  18. Just FYI, I used Vern's paint stripper technique, but didn't sand the aluminum. I found that just taking the paint off and using Mother's or Never Dull got them shiney enough for me. Guess I was just lazy, but I think it looks great! Good luck.
  19. I'm with Jason W, sorry Furbird. I have a 1998 Blackbird, that is currently wearing a 2002 tail section, no problems......I'd have to assume the inverse would work??
  20. Tim, I have to agree about the crowds in Anacortes, wouldn't mind learning more about the Kelowna Sportbike Rally, sounds perfect.

    D&D Slip Ons

I love my D&D carbon fiber pipes, just wish they were hi-mounts. If anyone thinks the D&D's are loud on the 'bird, you should hear them on my Super Hawk, deafening!
  22. Tim, I think I may have ridden past you in Anacortes, I waved at a guy riding two up on a Titanium bird, was that you? No kid'n about how hot, crowded, and congested (traffic) at the event was. I too blew by more than a few Hardleys, only lofted the front tire a couple times. Tim2
