    Fluid leakage

Thats a good idea. Ive put at least another 10o+ miles on it since the leak...and so far no problems at all. Very weird.

    Fluid leakage

When it first happened Id say it lost a cup or two...just wham...fluid on the ground...then nothing. I checked under the seat again, and it looks good. I also see no signs of leakage at all under the bike.

    Fluid leakage

I just ran the bike as suggested here...the fan came on at the usual time...and no fluid leakage at all...nothing. Looking under the seat, in the reserve, I can see that there is fluid there. Could this be a one time thing? Or should I be worried? THANKS!

    Fluid leakage

Im going to try those suggestions. Ive been riding the bike all season, so I know its not from it being parked for a long period of time. It was just really strange that it happend just as I parked the bike, and shut it off. It was at night, and I may not have even noticed if it werent for the steam coming off from under the bike where the water met the metal.

    Fluid leakage

Im hoping someone can help me out with this... I went on a ride today, pulled into my house, parked the bike, and then it leaked radiator fluid onto the ground from under the engine. It didn’t leak a ton, and it didn’t look like it came from the radiator itself...maybe an overflow or something? Does anyone have any idea what or why or how this might happen? It looks like there's still fluid in the reserve under the seat...I just don’t want to ride it if it sounds like something more serious is happening. Thanks a lot!
  6. Very cool. I want one.
  7. The airrider setup looks pretty cool...but expensive! I did find a spliter at Radio Shack...seems to work ok when I use it with the radar dector and the cd player...not with the cell phone. I might look into a way to make the radar dector loud on its own...think I saw a post about that somewhere here...and then just worry about one audio connection at a time on the bike.
  8. Thanks for the info. Im working on what I can do with the connections I have...a spliter for the audio input. Otherwise...it just might be too much crap to deal with. Thanks again!
  9. I was really hoping there would be something as simple as a hub...connect all devices...then connect to the helmet...just like my little computer network.
  10. Thanks for the welcome!
  11. Hello... Just wondering if anyone knows how I can hook up my radar, cell phone, and cd player...all at the same time...to my helmet headset...a Platinum 900 from Collett??? How is everyone hooking up multiple devices? Thanks!!!
  12. I just bought the Platunum 900 from Collett...I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to hook up more that just one audio source. I'd like to have my radar, cell phone, and cd player all hooked at the same time. Is that even possible? Thanks!

    D&D Slip Ons

Just bought a 99 Bird...had some scratches on the pipes, so the dealer ordered D&D slips ons. I know everyone love loud and throaty pipes...but these seem REALLY loud. Maybe im not used to them yet...but... Anyone out there have D&D's? How does yours sound? Thanks!
