  1. Not that it matters for you but adjusting the AAP table under 10% throttle will give screwy results.
  2. My exhaust is wrapped. I noticed no difference in performance or temperatures. That stuff is very similar to fiberglass, so use gloves if you can. I itches for several days Don't wrap it too tight, heating and cooling and getting wet will stress the metal irregularly. I would do mine again, but I would double wrap it. edit: and yes, it does look like crap~!
  3. Advancing the timing does basically no good on this engine - at least in stock form. Basically all the PC can do is smooth out your A/F mixture. The hope is that the "stock" map for the PC is better then the actual stock settings. On a stock bike you would be lucky to see more then a few HP difference total, but if you get rid of a dip then you won. [when it was still stock] I personally felt a nice improvement in throttle response but it didn't equate to any more top hp.
  4. Turbo's not quick enough, had to gear down.
  5. I was going to put my stock sprocket back on for the seXXt but demon said only wussies run stock...
  6. $130 eMap $80 software $60 memory card =$270 $300 Garmin V
  7. Penske is nice but I didn't want to wait 2+ weeks for it and no preload adjuster (remote). edit: so that means I went with ohlins
  8. I don't know what plug he was looking up...but the Honda dealer said 11.49 per plug?! The last iri set I bought was at $6 each and I thought that was bad!
  9. Do the Garmins come with software or do you have to buy that also? Is the eMap still worth getting since its discontinued?
  10. Do you really think it will affect the battery since it was running non-stop at ~4k rpm? I would think the power draw would be very sustainable at that rpm/speed.
  11. I'm not sure if the MAP sensor correctly reads the "boost" but the ECU definitely reads it as an error code.
  12. I would have assumed at that height the stock shield would already completely protect you from the wind.
  13. I definitely needed to hear that Of course it was a Penske dealer who told me...but I wanted to see if anyone actually had it happen.
  14. I was informed that the hydraulic preload adjuster on the Ohlins quits working after about a year or so. Has anyone experienced this? How long have you had your shock? Thanks!
