  1. That explains a lot.😁
  2. A day in the life of Zero. You should start a YT channel.😄
  3. When I had my Bird, I was usually 38 front and 35 rear just to get best traction. I would pump up the rear to 38 or 40 if touring with luggage or a passenger. I think 5000 miles was the most I ever got, and that was the very first Dunlop RoadSmart tire.
  4. Holy crap! What tire pressures are you running? 50 psi?
  5. Cylinder wall and valve seats look pretty good, but carbon build-up seems a little much. I think you need to visit the red-line a little more often, just in case.
  6. Three things to do if you leave it powered up. 1. Close the ball valve at the tank when you're finished using it. Thanks for reminding me Rich. 2. Fix any leaks, especially the ones on the tank. 3. Make sure there are no easily combustible materials near the compressor.
  7. That is cool. Never seen one like that. Definitely, worth fixing. Around here it would rust from the inside out.
  8. That's better than popping a hose, and having the compressor pump run 24/7. Pretty sure that is what happened at my previous place of employment, and somehow it burned the whole place down. Wichita's only 5 alarm fire, ever. Three small divisions of the the company, and the compressor was in the one called "Rubber Supply". 100 year old warehouse-type building. Imagine a giant pile of tires on fire, with not one drop of water in any of them.
  9. I have the opposite problem. It sometimes gets too humid in the house, because the outdoor temps are too low for the A/C to run. I should have a separate de-humidifier, but the problem isn't bad enough for me to spend the money. I just turn on more ceiling fans.
  10. Unfortunately, the tacos and their green chile sauce are the only things better than Taco Bell. ( I know, not saying much). My wife likes the place, I prefer others.
  11. That's what it did with the first charger (very old Sears unit). I put my Battery Tender Jr. on it all day yesterday. Light was still red when I got home, but that SOB started. Woo Hoo! Drove 4 miles to the Taco Tico, and 20 minutes later it started again. Woo Hoo! Now we'll see how long it lasts.
  12. Denial is the first stage.
  13. Those are big ants, or you have a very small hand.🤔
  14. It didn't start. Less than two years old, and leaving the key on accessory 24 hours may have killed it, permanently? WTF! Will have to jump it tonight, and take it for a longer drive to see if that helps, maybe back to Sam's for a replacement. Or maybe I just need a new battery charger?
  15. The one I bought for my truck from Sam's (Duracell) a couple years ago has 890 CCA, and was about $135. Probably a little more today. Haven't looked. A Nissan V6 doesn't really need that much juice to crank, but in the winter it sure helps the computer and relays wake up a lot sooner. I left my key on accessory Sunday night after working on it, so was dead Monday evening. Charged it last night, and rode the bike to work today, we'll see when I get home if it recovered. Hopefully, not one of the cheap ones.
  16. Why? Don't see the problem. My race leathers are ragged and nasty, but they are no longer needed. My gear runs from cheap to upper middle quality, depending on the item. Helmets are up on a shelf (I need a new one), jackets and pants are also hung up. I spray for bugs in the garage, but still occasionally see some spiders (alive). Mostly just dead carcasses (Viper insecticide is awesome). No mice can get in, and no scorpions here.
  17. That's where I keep mine. However, I do have a mini-split heat pump that I keep about 77 in the summer, and 62 (lowest setting) in the winter.
  18. I don't think that will work as well as just leaving your gear in your ARIZONA garage, unless that also has a humidifier. 50% humidity?? Really? I set mine at 35% in the winter. House might go up to 50% in the summer, but never really looked.
  19. Looks like a Jawa with an eye injury. Don't ask me which one. Never mind. He's just winking.
  20. If this engine is not mounted into anything and the clutch basket is already removed, just flip it over and remove the bottom half of the cases. Then you can visually inspect the crank bearings. If they look good, slap it back together, with some new Honda bond, of course. Make a template out of cardboard, so you can keep track of where all the bolts go.
