Take lots and lots of pics and do a detailed description and I will buy you a beer.

If your finger is in the picture there better be grease under your fingernails.

I am actually interested in stage 1 kit. But currently saving my pennies.

Take a look at my last post under Turbo Kits for Blackbird. Contact me for any info if you wish. Nothing built today even compares, as of yet.

Good luck, Jerry. I don't know what anyone would do with a faster Bird, but I know that you and Magoo ride like a couple of 20-something squids. And thanks to nitrile gloves, fingernail grease is optional.

Bike is now naked. This thing is dirty!

What was the leakdown?

I should be sending out the first "care package" next week... :icon_biggrin:

I don't know how you expect to work in such a cramped space.

i noticed that too, must suck. I had plenty of room in my shop till i pulled that '29 model A inside. Now i have to walk around it. He has a whole fleet of cars and has enough room to play indoor football still.

There is lots of room in my shop. Maybe the pics seem like it's cramped but it's not.

Hank, Leak down on all 4 was between 3 and 4% very good numbers.

Damn BB motors are stout, aren't they?

I leaked a 50,000+ mile motor at 2-3%..

Yup, that will do nicely!

Yep, why spend 14 - 15k on something ugly when I can spend a whole lot less on something I love.

Well, I don't want to slam what some people feel is their next step or whatever, and to some it is appealing and their baby. There is little argument that it is technologically superior - I'm just not done with the "outdated" blackbird just yet. I have it close to where I want it, but who can turn down a weight loss, better suspension, and more power in a familiar package that you already love?

Truth is, if I bought a 14, I'd be out buying all the upgrades for it also; I'd be at $20k pretty quick.

Bought a set of ZX10 wheels on eBay last night...

With the money I have spent on P1200 and the turbo project I could have bought several 14's , but why would I want to ???????
