Not wanting to do this but time to pay off some bills. Bike is in mint condition!! Only 26k miles. Brand new tires, brakes, 4 into 1 Micron, bar risers, throttlemeister Tires pictured are not the new ones, I have a pilot power on the front and pilot road 2 on rear. Thanks everyone for all the info. I'll now order that stand. I never have any help in the garage, so things can be a bit difficult. I'm putting on a new set of tires. I tired jacking the bike up from under the oil pan, but no matter where I put the jack the bike kept tipping towards the right side.

Is it possible or safe to use a front stand with the centerstand? I know the rear tire will have to be removed for the front to lift. I've never used a lift stand, so will the lift stand pull the bike forward knocking it off the centerstand? :icon_think:

I bought a trackside deluxe but I'm taking it back. Did you ever find a cover? I'm trying to find a quality one that won't scratch my bike or leave white marks from the grommets

Are you using a speedohealer? It sounds like the pulse signal is being affected by something - either crap wiring or something in the signal path. Good idea Brian. I'll check to see if there is any chain lube or other build up in the way of the sensor.

My speedo is bouncing up and down fluctuating about 5-10 mph. I don't think I have an electrical issue, it's been doing it for sometime and my tach doesn't do it. Is there something loose or does something need replacing? Thank you.

I'm looking to get a track bike. What do you guys think is the best 600? I found a few 636's but i'm not a big fan of the kawi. I think they feel funny compared to an rr. I can't seem to find any rr's that are in my price range or set up towards being a track bike. I never had this issue with my '97. My '99 has a bad clutch grab. I always thought it was due to the clutch plates being reduced from nine to seven. I'm going to look into this a little deeper. Thanks everyone!

I run the 2ct's. Totally changed the bike. Long life and excellent hook up. I have had many different brands and these are by far my favorite.

Hey Everyone, I've been searching paint codes for my '99 Pearl Black Blackbird. I found the color is Pearl Prism NH418P. Although the only color avaliable in the US is MUte Black Metallic NH359M. This color is for a '97, correct? Can I buy the Pearl Prism NH418P online? I only need a paint pen. I also need to touch up the stator cover is. Does anyone know the paint code for this?
