Nova Scotia Mike
Hi, Do any of these exist for a forum user to fiddle with? I can't seem to find in settings, but I'm not always the best to find such things. Thanks
DBLXX
I blame gay males who have periods.
SwampNut
I don't recall installing any themes at all. Have a look, I can install a few if you find what you like and link to them. If it's about mobile make sure they are compatible. The hot new thing, which I have no idea why, but is popular, is "Fluent." I don't know what it is or why it's good or not, just keep hearing about it on various tech circles relative to UI design. https://invisioncommunity.com/files/category/191-dark-themes/ https://invisioncommunity.com/files/category/162-themes/

I guess that forum has to stay open for unregistered members to post as guests so that legit people with legit problems can get an answer from an admin? I imagine others will follow... Some of the links were spoof links: while displaying a legit link it would direct you to a similarly named link but not what you were looking for. The first one I noticed was their Xhamster.com link actually going to 1Xhamster.com, likely for nefarious purposes. My browser is only displayed the html, so I could see right away that it was a misdirection and not my favorite porn site an even more sordid corner of the web than where most of those filthy porno addicts hang out. rockmeupto125
Has to stay open so that if a member can't access, they have a way to communicate a need for assistance. At least it's only a small place to keep tidy.

SwampNut
I had edited to note that, funny that Joe then deleted MY post. But yeah, this forum is unrestricted so people can post if they have forum issues.

Probably got the notification, said "fuck this asshole," hit delete, didn't see I'd modded it. Of course, I am only talking shit amongst friends and not complaining. Nova Scotia Mike
I forgot all about this and it looks like I may have missed a near successful russian ransomware attack. I brought this up as the .org is the the only forum I peruse that has the white background only. Makes for bright middle of the night surfing. How about this dark mode one to try ... https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/9700-bravo-6-dark-theme-for-47/ ? Thanks
blackhawkxx
On my laptop, there is something called night light that dulls and darkens things.
SwampNut
On the Apple devices it's called Night Shift, and actively manages the color of the lighting and overall look. On my Lenovo Yoga it's called something else, but is similar. I don't know if all Windows hardware supports that. It would seem more useful than just a theme. But, this one has been added, and happy to try others. I personally hate dark themes, so I need the advice from those who like them, I can't pick one. SwampNut
I've been leaving ChatGPT open at all times, I need to remember to leverage it for things like this.
