  1. So, are you going to sell that full Yosh system???
  2. Oh, you will get anti-freeze on the floor. Have something to wipe it up.
  3. Thin oil and a light rear tire will give you more horsepower but.......
  4. Now, go put it on the dyno, then switch back to the old header and dyno it again.
  5. Yep, you are right. I think that is why Honda changed it, to give the bike more torque at a lower rpm while trading off the higher rpm charge of the older model. So, would you say that you like it better?
  6. What does changing the fork oil height do? Yes, I know that you are changing the air gap but will adding more oil act like a stiffer spring or what?
  7. So the integrated for the 97-98 is only $89.99 but the 99 on is $149.99? I'm glad I have a 97.
  8. Have you thought about the BT 014? They should last longer than the 012 and they stick good for me.
  9. You have a borescope? Those things are not cheap $$$. What would a cop be doing with a borescope?
  10. You can put sand in the Bird and it will still run 100,000 miles.
  11. Do you guys really look at the speedometer? I never do unless I am stringing it out. If I am trying not to speed because there may be a tax collector around, I just go with the flow of the traffic.
  12. From what I have always read, dyno's very from machine to machine. You might try another dyno before giving up. Don't go by the magazine numbers because they are corrected as are the quarter mile times.
  13. 97, K&N jet kit, Yosh slip-on's, couldn't care less about mpg, never checked it. To tell you the truth (not blowing my own horn) but this bike has to be the best running carbed vehicle that I have ever owned. No flat spots or hickups anywhere.
  14. If a clutch is slipping, the motor speeds up not 'bogging' down.
  15. http://www.cbr1100xxforums.org/forum/viewt...pic.php?t=23605
  16. When you put a heavier spring in the front, does it raise the bike or do you have to cut the spacer to keep it the same height?
  17. So how many miles did you get out of your non steel sprocket?
  18. Find your local tree hugger and throw them in his yard. I think most tire dealers will take them for a buck or two.
  19. I would like to see a photo of that.
  20. I have worked on some cars that it seemed it would have been eaier to pull the motor.
  21. Pick any link you want, grind the head of the pins off it so you get it off. I don't think the factory chain has a link that looks different.
  22. They upgraded the crush drive rubbers in the rear (not sure which year it started) but I put the new ones in and it did make a difference.
  23. Pick any tire, you are not going to spin.
