rockmeupto125
Trying to pick up around here. I counted 5 frames out there, some with paperwork, some without that would make good project bikes or jigs for any wacko mods you might be contemplating. Lots other things, too.....give a holler if its something weird you need. No upper cowls, only damaged plastic, no seats, no headlights. Byrdman
A scrap yard will likely give you more.
rockmeupto125
For some items, yes.........not sending a titled frame for scrap. I'd just rather things have a chance to be used before recycled. Locally its $1.50/pound for bare aluminum, and $1 for mixed.
TuffguyF4i
A painted aluminum frame will get you nothing for scrap. Dirty aluminum is like $.10/lb.
rockmeupto125
my guess is that you're right. I was just parroting what the scrap guy said while we were loading stuff in his truck. And those prices are a little steep.

My wife rides the Hurricane. She has mentioned numbing in her hands. We'll see how well the HVMPs function. Thanks though.

rockmeupto125
Depends on what you need from it. If all you need is essentially a jig to hang projects on, that would be fairly cheap.
