airborneXX
For those of you with a fair amount of miles on your XX's about how long did the clutch last? My older air cooled bikes all seemed to lose theirs at around 25 to 30,000 miles. I approching 30k on mine and it's been on my mind. Nothing is wrong with mine I'm just curious. Iceman_40
Don't have enough miles on my bike to worry about it yet. But now that I think of it I've been hanging on here a few years I don't remember anyone saying they have changed one..... :icon_clap:

airborneXX
Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll just carry on with the change oil, change oil and tires routine
willxx23
Depends if you abuse it or not. The guy down here that bought jimmyz250's bird had to have his replaced. I can tell you that he was kinda hard on his clutch.

Guest rockmeupto125
I keep watching the Garage for clutch replacement threads. Never seems to be any? Did I miss one? Why...so you know if anyone needed a clutch...or to see how to do it?
bonox
sold a 96 plated model with 180,000km on it (whats that, about 112,000miles) that never needed a new one. I didn't drag with it and didn't commute, but still not bad i reckon.
seeten1
I only use the clutch for takeoffs, 1st-2nd shift, and downshifting. Clicks in like butter upshifting 2nd thru 6th. So who needs it?
