Bob the Fish
I recently had some powdercoating done. Once it was finished the old decals just didn't seem to fit in with the color scheme, so I swapped them out this weekend. It took a few hours on Saturday to replace them with new ones. The new ones were a bit tempermental and wanted to stick to the paper backing instead of the plastic coating. Anyway, here are a few shots. I started by heating up the old ones. Then gently pulled them off. Despite my best efforts they left glue behind and I had to use a 3M Adhesive stripper to clean the rest off. Here's what the finished product looks like: Thanks to Kiwimack for the use of his garage and tools. Couldn't do any of this without you Mack, thanks. beondwacko
Very nice decals! As it has been said by others in here, I'm also not much of a gold fan, but those decals really set the bike off. Good job!
