matey_peeps
Well depending on levels of vibes and amount ridden it may take a month for such a problem to surface. Take it down to how you had it replacing plugs, and check for any obvious flattened or abraded wires. It's gonna be something simple and stupid just like that. Believe me, I feel your pain. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82376
UncleJake
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82376 I've been lurking over there for 6-8 months now. What KTM do you have? Those 950s give me a chubby.... Sorry for the hijack... and MP is right, just have to start backtrackin'. Good luck... -UJ
azxx
driving to wrk everything shut off  blown 30 amp fuse. replaced it , keeps blowing   H E L P I had a short tester from Snap-On when working on cars, you plug it in place of the fuse it buzzes when the short is present, then you can wiggle or move wiring harnesses, move handlebars back and forth or unplug connectors one at a time to help locate the short. matey_peeps
DOH surely you can find a better price than that. I seem to remember seeing them from various places for around $175? What's the part number?

matey_peeps
go to www.ronayers.com and get a part number for your specific model. There are also upgrades available, which has been covered ad nauseum. Do a search for 'regulator rectifier' and start reading.
