I agree, Jeremy.

You guys obviously haven't seen the quality of the Japanese titanium systems, or you wouldn't be recommending the ones you already have.

Akrapovic is the best of the stainless systems, but is still second to the ones J Red recommended by quite a margin. In fit & finish, and power delivery.

Only problem is the price also goes up accordingly. :???:

For reference, my complete system weighs less than 9lbs. That's header, midpipe, muffler, and all the bracketry.

What does the factory system weigh? :poke:

Nine pounds with the Tiforce centerstand stop?

What does the factory system weigh? :poke:

The Honda centerstand stop is lighter than the Tiforce, I'll bet...

I picked up a full two bros stainless exhaust system marked "99 CBR1100XX" with an oval carbon can this weekend. I don't show them offering a full system anymore (just like the one on my VFR800). Does anyone have any more info on these?? Do they require you to eliminate the center stand?

Anyone know the value? I'm planning to offer it up on Ebay. In great shape except for a small dime sized hole punched in the carbon fiber body of the muffler. No mounting strap either, but those are available new from Two Bros.

Thanks,

Michael

Oh, and since you reminded me of the centerstand stop....

Ok, so if one doesnt have a left can to stop the centerstand, then what does one do? I'm getting a 2Bros full shotgun system (two cans on the right) and I am wondering what I am I supposed to do to stop the centerstand from hitting the chain?

I think it's two bros. that make the centerstand stop. It fits on your left side centerstand mounting bolt and holds the stand down off the chain. Call them and tell them you have one of their full systems and need the bracket for the centerstand.

Today I was in the factory of Superpole exhausts from Holland. They were working on a series of BB-exhausts for the American market. There seems to be an importer for them now, but I don't know who.....

In Holland they make very good exhausts, for the lowest price. For example over 50% cheaper than Two Brothers, and 30% cheaper than Blue Flame.....

Maybe worth to have a look at? If you guys are interested I can ship them to you.

The website is only in Dutch, but if you need translating, give me a buzz....

The pictures speak for themselves.... www.superpole.nl

I would have to second, or third, or wherever the count is on "Migs". I saw them for the first time on 99Birman's bike and thay impressed the shit out of me and I don't like aftermarket exhaust systems! The sound was incredible adn they looked shit-hot!

I wanted the MIGS for mine, but they only come in the used variety any more and a rareity at that. I got a set of the Blueflame slipons in stainless with the dual tips and removeable plugs and baffles. So far I like them. Lifetime guarantee on them as well. Deep throaty sound that doesn't get raspy or harsh. With the baffles and plugs in, they are a little louder than the stockers but not as loud as most slipons. With the plugs and baffles out they get a lot louder, but not D&D loud, with that deep tone.

Leo Vince' makes a set of slip ons for the XX. About $750.00 as I recall.

I just hogged the baffles out of the stockers with a 1 1/4" hole saw that I TIG welded the arbor to a drill bit extender for a little more sound.

Woke the mid range up too. :D
